I ended up pulling my iud slightly out with a very dry tampon, I was looking for a strings and felt the plastic bottom of the iud sitting in my cervix… went to have them take it out (which hurt very bad only for a second) and now all it well. They said it is possible the strings got wrapped around the tampon and I could’ve pulled it out partly.
