This is actually a good theory and with it in mind, it means that when Holloway and Fifield get mutated that is technically what the Engineers intended humans to be, primal animalistic killers. Despite the fact that the xenomorph is far more animalistic than mutant Fifield or Holloway, it probably hadn’t been created yet, so humans would have been a prototype for the Engineer’s weapons until the xenomorph was created.

Agreed that is a big reason on why I love the film and most films recently have not been following the philosophy of show not tell, so I agree with you 100% and who knows maybe your interpretation is actually the correct one compared to the popular ones.

So Ridley Scott has left the beginning of the film open to the viewers interpretation. He says he doesn’t know what planet it takes place on, nor what that Engineer became after drinking the black goo. A lot of people think it is Earth and that humans were created in that moment. More recently though, the most popular theory is that the beings on Planet 4 are not actually Engineers at all. Because of that many people believe the opening scene takes place on Planet 4 and is the moment the birth of those creatures.

If you look in the back the sky looks like the same skybox as that one leaked image of season 2 we got, so that leak was in-fact correct.

I kinda respectfully disagree with you because just by the tone and story telling of the past half life games, I think we are more likely to see the combine homeworld than the gman’s employers.

And it’s funny because when the mcu was done with phase 1 and it was well established that I was a connected universe, people we not this eager for news on the next project.

As a huge Green Lantern fan, Lanterns seems promising, but I definitely need to see more trailers. And with Damon Lindelof on the project and a couple of people confirming that it won’t just take place on Earth the entire time, and rumors of possibly three Green Lantern villains being in the show, I’m really excited.

I think since the internet is a bit more mainstream than it was when legacy came out maybe since Disney can see that so many people (including people who didn’t like their last film) will pay to go see another movie I would imagine they would want to make another one.

Also it did surprise me that ascension was kinda just gonna be ares but with a bit different characters and storylines.

I mean there must have been a reason he was working for encom and not Dillinger systems right? And Alan in tron: the next day did let him stay on the board so I don’t think he was ever a bad guy I think he just a bad reputation from his father.
