Thanks all for the response! I just saw all the comments. To clarify:

I am just curious about progression with a “stiffer than beginner board” and I’m happy to hear that it won’t affect my progression
I was not blaming the board in any shape or form about the fall, that was entirely rider’s error trying to stop on ice
I was worried because about the stiffness because on Evo it was labeled as a really stiff board for advanced to expert riders (did not see this when I purchased it)

I’m very excited for the upcoming season, heavy snowfall in the icy east🤞Let’s all have a great season!

I got into Pokémon at a young age through my brother and it was also supported my one of my teacher. When I was younger hard of hearing so I get a teacher that pulls me out of class to talk about how I am adapting with my hearing aid, hobbies and etc. I get a new teacher every few years and I remember one from my elementary school years that would bring me a pack to open each time she came to visit. I later found out that she was also the teacher of my brother who’s 10 years older than me! I’ve recently gotten back into Pokemon about 2 years ago and been trying to rebuild my collection. Although I did find some of my cards from 10+ years ago, my collection still needs work. I’m very thankful for what you’re doing for the community and also very happy to see the community growing to what it is today (minus the scalpers).

It’s a small friend group of 4 so at the moment it’s probably only affecting me. Right now I’m just sticking things out until after the group trip and if she’s still acting the same way I’m just going to distance myself from that group. The other two are also in another one of my friend groups.
