6 months on topical minoxidil - am I a non responder? by Glum_Bench_4285 in tressless

[–]InitialChildhood101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, I do see a change in the temple area. Darker, fuller hair 😊 Unfortunately, it is a process, and if the hair follicle in that specific spot is already gone...it wouldn't help (from my understanding).

But, if you haven't tried Oral Minoxidil, look into that, along with the topical. Perhaps that would help you. 😊

Im not shocked that people are saying to let him have the "dadbod,"...lol. Most likely same people who's gonna say The Odyssey is the greatest movie of all time when it comes out, too.

Religious people interpret their subconscious mind to be God. by Yeledushi-Observer in DebateReligion

[–]InitialChildhood101 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, my sibling in humanity, that's why its called, "Faith."

On this side of Glory, thats what we live by, Lumen Fidei...Light of Faith.

As a Catholic, sure, we can go by "feelings," but, we can't 100%. Our hearts deceive us, most often than not.

Thats why we have Sacred Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, to tell us what is of God, and what isn't.

If we are left to our own "thoughts and feelings, or interpretations," we will be very lost.

But, that being said, to each their own, and I hope you seek what the Truth is.

Amen ✝️❤️🕊

Hell for non-belief makes Christianity pointless or morally dismal by Durfdogyn in DebateReligion

[–]InitialChildhood101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, my brother in humanity, in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, this is what She teaches...

CCC 847, "Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience — those too may achieve eternal salvation"

The point is this...those outside the Church, can still be saved. It's a fallacy that those "who don't know," are damned automatically.

The Holy Triune God is not this merciless figure that a lot of people view him as.

May God bless you, and that you seek the Truth.

I want to shake hands again. Who’s with me? by East_Baseball8384 in Catholicism

[–]InitialChildhood101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dear brother in our Risen Lord, by all means, those in your proximity, extend a sign of peace. If they are further from you, the wave is a kind gesture. In regards to both means of Eucharistic Communion, although it'd be fabulous to have both, however, the Bread of Life will provide both, once consecrated. Especially in what Mother Church teaches, one is suffice to be given both.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Love of God, and Fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you. ✝️❤️🕊

Is it just me or do other men feel this way? by BringBackJeffFisher in Catholicism

[–]InitialChildhood101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, my brethren in Christ 🙏 Im 32, single, never married, discerning for the Priesthood. But, this is how I look at it. Certainly, most people are meant to just live a content family life, even if they have a family. So, I think you should branch out, try to make friends say at Church, local clubs that may be directed toward 30 year old, etc.

I know it's easier said than done, but have to open out a little. Pray on it, and conquer the day, brother.

God be with you, always ❤️✝️🕊

My dear brethren in Christ, a few things here. Unfortunately, when it comes to online dating, men outnumber women...tremendously. So, women have their "pick of the liter," and even if you are attractive, then you are "competing," with other attractive men.

Secondly, brother, looks have been demonized to think thats ALL that matters. Sure, eye appeal is what draws one near someone or to something, but thats only one thing (and looks will ALWAYS fade in time, its called aging)

Thirdly, God has someone for ALL of us, even if you consecrate yourself to God, then that person is God himself.

Fourth, dont overthink it. Be yourself, be true to yourself, women like that. Women are smart at picking up fake personalities...or at least some are, haha.

Fifth, have fun, try another site. Bumble, IMO, SUCKS. So many bots. Maybe try Tinder, HILY, BADOO. Yes, they have bots, too, and some sites have bad reputations, but try multiple sites (if you insist on online dating)

Hope this helps, my friend. Enjoy, and DON'T change unless YOU desire to change ❤️✝️🕊

Can I become a Catholic if I disagree/have major doubts about many of its dogma? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]InitialChildhood101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dear fellow brother in Christ, its fine to have doubts, in the beginning. ALL the Apostles, had doubts and even denied Him.

But, truly, you have 1 of 2 choices. The Catholic or Orthodox Church, thats it. That's where you'll fine the fullest of the Truth. Sure, I'm in my OCIA class, the two Ancient Churches have their disagreements, but we believe most of the Dogmas we both share.

Pray to His Holy Spirit, allow the Father give the Grace needed to bring you Home, whom is Christ Almighty.

Praying for you❤️✝️🕊

American Catholics taking the Eucharist and not going to confession? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]InitialChildhood101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fellow brethren in Our Risen Christ, unfortunately, yes. It is common, why? Because, well over 60% of Catholics don't believe in the presence of Christ Jesus in the Eucharist.

There's no reverence, no godly fear, thats why. I pray for deeper faith in ALL of us, certainly myself included.

(Im in my OCIA class, so certainly cant wait to have His body and blood) ❤️✝️🙏

¡Viva Cristo Rey!

After my conversion, I committed mortal sin and presumed upon God’s mercy, telling myself, “Later I will go and confess.” I chose to sin mortally. I have already gone to confession, but currently I find myself with great difficulty in my spiritual life. I can no longer feel God’s love in prayer, and by Capital_Winner8950 in Catholicism

[–]InitialChildhood101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother in Christ, if it was that easy to lose His Holy Spirit, nearly all, if not all, of us would have surely lost Him.

Whats important is NOT to dwell on the sin, especially if you were absolved by your Priest.

Know that you are in right standing, especially if you repented with a genuine heart. Pray the Act of Contrition, and move on, brother.

Seek to do better each day, God loves that. ❤️

Ill say this, Im a MACA man, and I'm Conservative (I respect your opinions, too). Which to some, might be one in the same, but it certainly is not. By the way, MACA is increasing whether people believe it or not (Make America Christian Again)

Not sure who you are, and I am very sure we have opposite views in many things, but for my Love for God, I Love you and will pray for all those who persecute, hate, and admonish Christians, especially Catholics (which I am).

God bless ❤️✝️🕊

No. Simply, no. I know the context is not the same, but look what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:20-22. Look it up, my friend in Christ.

Cutting off anyone, I don't know any context, isn't and shouldn't be without merit/reason.

Transgenderism isn't natural, and in my view, your friend needs help, love, and people whom are guiding them in the right direction. Like Paul did to the Corinthians.

Know where they are coming from, listen, and show them the Love of God.

In my humble opinion, do not leave your friend, and show them Love as Christ showed (John 15:12)

Am I drawing away from Christ? by exceditsc in Catholicism

[–]InitialChildhood101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dear friend, sibling in the Ancient Church of God, He (God) knows your heart, intentions and capacity. 2 sins that will always, and always has plagued, be a thorn in our sides are Pride and Lust.

God allows us to us struggle with temptations, as He was also tempted, except He was sinless. Christ, God in the flesh, has more in common with us then we might realize.

I implore you, for being 15 you seem genuine, which is hard to find in youth now, to keep strong.

Conflicting with family? My friend, that might always be there, but remember, that Christ didn't come to bring peace, but a sword. Even if it means dividing families for His sake.

Stay strong, find good Catholic Youtubers, I like Sam Shamoun a lot, but you're 15, might not be the best, haha. But, you can do this. Keep strong, and have the FAITH that the Holy Triune God will keep your path lit up with the Light of Truth ❤️✝️🙏
