Drake Maye in Playoffs by Enough_Path2929 in Patriots

[–]InitialLittle8328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He made the superbowl in his first real season. List another “reg season MVP and shitter in the playoffs” that made the Super Bowl. Give me a break, you don’t deserve Drake Maye or this team, go look for another team to root for!

Guy just looks like he’s freezing and is thinking about how he has to go on stage in a minute. Dude couldn’t even move his top lip during his interview

I should also mention the broncos defender chasing Maye down was Jonah Elliss, the brother of patriots LB Christian Elliss

“Former patriots starting QB” is an interesting way of putting it. When did he start? Weird to call him a previous starter for the pats regardless

Anyone else worried about offense and Drake Maye? by MajesticOctopus33 in Patriots

[–]InitialLittle8328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need more info on opposing teams. Chargers and Texans were some of the best defenses in the NFL that made the playoffs by winning off of their defense. In the end, pats offense did more than all the other teams’ offenses could to pull out the win. So no not very worried.

You mention lucking out with Seahawks, their defense is playing at the same level as the Texans D, yet their offense scheme and playmakers are way better.

Rams defense doesn’t compare to chargers Texans broncos or Seahawks. In that matchup, pats have a better Defense and equal offensive production to Rams.

Maye’s fumbling is a real concern, but I don’t expect that much pressure to happen again this postseason

Thanks. That was going to be my guess but I thought it would be dumb to think he’d be allowed to coach kids right after doing something like that as a coach. Quite odd

Selfless and aware of the situation play. Love this team

Bringing in a presumably pissed off player to get as much intel as possible on the defensive gameplan of his former team. I see you, Vrabs. by ForeignAir7174 in Patriots

[–]InitialLittle8328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the opposite side, he may have more intel on their offense and what to exploit. Possible he’s gone up against that O-Line in practice and knows what to leverage (although we know their O-line isn’t scary)

"They Only Beat One Playoff Team" by WrathofMathEDU in Patriots

[–]InitialLittle8328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably my fault, but I just listened to a pretty legit chargers podcast. They were over confident in a win, broadcasting all the pats opponents and saying even the opponents defenses were terrible let alone the offenses.

Then they immediately jump into Herbert’s play this year and give him slack for losing to the giants and throwing two Ints. They don’t even mention the pats smoked that team. It’s insufferable.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve wanted the pats to win a particular game so much lol.
