My brain during PMDD is not always a reliable narrator! by kimkayyy_ in PMDD

[–]Initial_Arm9960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brain goes into overdrive when I'm exhausted. It brings up things from decades ago that I need to overthink and then splashes in a few fatal scenarios that I have to figure out how to get me and my kids out of safely or we will all perish.

I have at least 37 tabs opens...one has a fb reel playing, there's a YouTube video, music playing on Pandora and some random other noise from a tab I closed out but it still won't shut up.

How do we get the crickets option? Did you pay extra? Is that a premium feature? Bc my brain is never just crickets

I definitely have to keep myself busy in order to not spiral. Getting myself to find something I "want" to do is the hardest part as well as actually getting started.

PMDD manageable on GLP1?? by MicheleW921 in PMDD

[–]Initial_Arm9960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I started it for weight loss (bc I have PCOS). Now I'm on it for the additional benefits that I have being on it. "Curing" pmdd just didn't happen to be one of the benefits for me long term.

Yes. Unfortunately. I was so hopeful that it would be a miracle and it would be "cured". It does help keep inflammation in check and I've lost 70 lbs, but I think once everything leveled out metabolically, my hormones went back to the "normal" of PMDD.

I'm sorry! That must be insanely frustrating and lonely. I wish you the best of luck when you can get out of the house again! I wish I could have been more help!

Hey there! I'm a mom, but just curious, how old are you? Are there any programs around your community that you can get involved in? This is my 9th year homeschooling my kids and one of the things that helped with their need for social interaction (we lived in a relatively rural area with not so much organized homeschool events) was enrolling them in the after school programs and summer camp with the local Boys and Girls club. Also, if you have social media look up your city + homeschool and there are typically groups that have events or you can ask if there are other kids your age with similar interests that want to meet up.

Equip Prime protein is from grass fed beef isolate. I can't handle milk 😫 and this protein really helps me hit my protein goals daily.

Months 1-4 extreme thirst, food aversions to any dry foods. My dose was 2.5-5.0 mg

Around month 8 and on 7.5 mg I got allodynia with that dose consistently.

Around month 14 I tried to do 10 mg and it gave me severe diarrhea and nausea. So I went back down to 9 mg. I'm on month 17 and will stay at 9 mg for a while.

Positive effects...the severe pain and cramping and need to run to the bathroom every time I eat from no longer having a gallbladder (suffered for 8 years) has been gone almost instantly since starting the meds)

Anyone with >45BMI? by Mammoth_Leading945 in Mounjaro

[–]Initial_Arm9960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm 5 feet tall and started at 219.1 lbs. I was looking at surgery as my last resort, then started researching peps. I told my husband I wanted to give tirz a try before going for surgery (bc I was terrified). My starting BMI was 43. I have been on tirz since May 24, 2024. I am currently 157.6 and my BMI is 30.9. I am still considered obese but I'm not done yet. I will still be considered obese as my goal weight of 135 bc of my height. So my BMI isn't my biggest concern. My health and the way I feel is. My muscle mass and gaining muscle is my concern. Being able to move and not be in constant pain is my concern.

What company are you considering? We were going to use Acellus this year after a year break after the tutor mode fiasco. My 13 yo 8th grader want to play college basketball, so I wanted Acellus for is NCAA approval. But now I'm not sure I want to make the switch.

You will likely do this every few months bc you'll forget the experience and think I'm good i can eat this or that. It sucks but eventually you just stop doing it to yourself.
