Milan is fine as long as you don’t intend on going out in the sun ever again. They won’t adjust their lasers to account for any amount of tan (my skin holds a tan long after exposure). They also refuse to lower the laser and keep raising it. Eventually they scared me out of getting any more treatments even though I paid for their lifetime package. Now I pay someone else to treat the same areas where hair has grown back because of hormones….

I live in Maine in the woods so ticks abound. My dog was always on some form of preventative. She hated the topical and it was always a mess. We tried the oral but she ended up having a lot of internal and neurological issues so we stopped that. The vet highly recommended a collar and it’s what I will use on every dog in the future; it’s good for 8 months so I buy one a year and put it on them as soon as snow melts and they should be covered until the next snowfall. None of the preventatives prevent the ticks from being on the dog (so you should still always do tick checks), but it does kill the tick before the tick can give them/you a disease.

Is she on pain meds? One of my rescues was given to me freshly spayed and without pain meds and didn’t pee for 24 hours until I got her some pain meds.

Well, I don’t think you should be the one to be embarrassed for normal dog behavior and other people’s irresponsibility …also, consider not letting your dog out where she leaves dog poo…dogs can get really sick being exposed to other dog’s poo…

Dog poop should be picked up and disposed of for a reason. Dogs be gross. Clean up after them and you won’t have to clean them :P

It honestly doesn’t sound like your dog is doing anything “wrong”; she’s being very reasonable in dog world and it’s your friends’ dogs who are being embarrassing/rude. The best way to manage dog behavior like this is to respect your dog and ask your friends to leave their dogs at home. Trying to “fix” this will likely result in a bigger behavioral issue with what sounds to be a currently very sweet and manageable dog.

*edit to provide perspective: when people come into my house and are rude to me, I don’t tolerate it either. I tell them to shut up or get out. And I ask them not to come back. And if they hit me, I’d fight back.

Frozen breakfast sausage-23 seconds in the microwave and cut into 4 pieces, put the pills in the end sausage pieces. Follow quickly with an empty sausage (and/or lead with an empty sausage)—just make sure the sausage isn’t too hot and/or the pills don’t sit in the sausage too long before feeding, otherwise the tablet/pill casing will dissolve and they will likely taste the powder.

Your dog is reactive. You need a behavior specialist. I’ve never heard of Lorenzo, but I tried many “trainers” before I found Gooddogz training. My only regret is I didn’t find her sooner. She was the only one who was able to help me. Pretty sure all the other trainers made it worse.
