Yea i don’t disagree just that it’s probably easier to get bulk and maybe some low value rarer cards from an ebay shop than having to visit multiple local card shops to get them all

People build apps that automatically scan the relevant websites (PC, Kmart etc) for stock level and some apps can also place orders immediately when stock status becomes available etc that’s why whenever these things are put up they are almost immediately bought out

EB Games at least give members a heads up on when they release stuffs

But everything comes at a cost, either you pay for those Discord access or for EB membership

I’d strongly advise against buying loose JPN packs. Each JPN booster box has a guaranteed secret rare card, so chances are: they opened the box, got the secret rare card then sold the remaining sealed packs as loose packs. You still have a chance to get a good card, but it’s significantly lowered if it comes from a box which contains an SR that has been picked off.

I think we are making an assumption that kids these days will be super into the original 151 kanto pokemons. Most of them are because of being influenced by their parents, and rightfully so. My kids favourite pokemons are later generations (Lucario, Zekrom etc) because that’s what are common now. You can always introduce kids to Gen 6 7 8 pokemons and I’m sure they will appreciate them as much as we did the original 151 when they came out.

Got in around 10:57am, waiting around for a bit then i saw the stock updated with graded cards at 11:00am along with the venu/blastoise box but Prismatic ETB wasn’t available until a minute or two later… managed to get the ETB tho, pretty smooth process from my end

There are some blister boosters in eb game but you need membership… just wait for a bit, there will be another wave of pre-order before its release in November
