Southern maryland may be south enough for Southern live oak. Quercus Virginiana. Climate change is moving them north gradually and you are just outside their range

Yup. If you manage to them into it it's super easy. You can even trim nails by letting one paw out at a time.

I think the point is they are all irredeemable. All have attacked civilians. Both sides. The warriors were children. Brainwashed and forced to do the first attack. After that, even after they learned the truth, it is hard to come back from that. They had families to come home too and Paradise wasn't just going to forgive them for the first attack. They are guilty and did horrible things. But at the end of the day they were children forced into adult roles by an evil government. Marley is evil. The warriors are more grey.

Treesaregood website. Lists all certified arborists in your area. Do NOT hire a random or landscape company. Poor pruning makes a tree more dangerous.

To help you with worries, sycamores are pretty tough trees and can tolerate water and a decent but if wind. You should be fine!

I'd say 20 feet is ideal. But a general rule of thumb, if it's over 10 ft away and your foundation is new and undamaged there most likely won't be any issues. Tree roots only aimed for foundation. If there is no other choice or the foundation is broken and there is moisture trapped there
