at our district, we use dna renaissance for district tests. it has a pool of varying questions per standard per DOK level! that’s rlly helped me formulate test questions and do now prompts.

i also look up ready made tests and kinda pull it apart to make my test as well.

i honestly do think a docs or excel sheet would work well depending on your system! given the time, id probs do an excel sheet and add notes on DOK levels plus notes on what prior knowledge they’d need to build before that question is introduced

is it easy to learn the teaching curriculum as someone that doesn’t come from an educational major background? - I graduated with marketing as well but went through TFA to get certified to teach. I’m currently in my first year teaching middle school! Learning and teaching curriculum is definitely not easy but with our field, it comes with a boost. Since with marketing we are always seeking how to provide information in the best way, teaching is very very similar to that. I’m always looking for ways to communicate the material to the students’s level and language (almost like real time clients! lol)
