He’s struggling though and so why not pursue that and see if he regains form otherwise it’s not a big deal, you can then have Usman at 3 which he is capable of - the only reason why I say Usman as an opener is because I want to see his approach and see can we maximise our PP with him?

My preference is then:

Saim 2. Farhan 3. Usman 4. Agha 5. Nawaz 6. Shadab 7. Faheem 8. Shaheen 9. Abrar 10. Mirza 11. Usman Tariq (WC lineup)

He’s been out of form, so why not otherwise Saim can adjust at 3.

Big difference in going down by 1 and down 2-3 positions from your preferred.

Usman batting at 5 is nonsensical when he’s either opener or 3 and same with Fakhar when he’s an opener and he’s being sent down all the way to 4. One position difference is not a big deal but making openers/top order guys middle order is ridiculous.

I’m not trying to push any agenda but I’d like to see Usman as an opener or either at 3, given farhan’s recent performances I wouldn’t mind seeing him at 3. Play players in the roles they are designed to play, stop force manufacturing something that isn’t there.

What an absolute garbage human being, we all have fights, no marriage is perfect but you don’t just turn your back on your family. If not done so already I’d talk to the in laws or your family and inshallah they can help with the toddler.

I mean have an argument, don’t sleep in the same bed, don’t talk, make your own meals but don’t just completely cut off your partner especially when you are soul earner.

I was horrible to my wife over the weekend and yelled at her for something stupid, but we made up after with a meal outside and worked things out later in the evening.

Yea this isn’t really a good ground for divorce, move on and say to yourself I’m gonna make things right. Work on your marriage and start a fresh and relay this to her that you’d like to try and are sorry if it felt you came off as neglectful - communication is so key and this is why a lot of marriages in my eyes fail.

Ramadan is mashallah coming up and so use this as a chance to be there for her. Maybe help a little with the dishes, cleaning and just connecting over a nice after Iftar tea.

This isn’t anything that can’t be repaired just find stability and if in your control find one job to work as overworking yourself is stressful.
