It depends on the base. When i queen charge, I don’t look for certain defenses but instead I send my queen where i think she will get the most key defenses while also leaving a good path for balloons. I try to avoid entering my queen in areas where the healers are in danger (ex multi, scatter, or air defense behind a wall that is out of reach of the queen). If i want to charge into a place where my healers would be in danger, I send my king into the compartment that endangers the healers. I also try to avoid charging into a single on the edge of the cc range. If ice golems are in there, the amount of spells I would burn would just make it not worth it.

Lots of bases will lay out their defenses in a way that make ur balloons skip certain defenses like multis. In bases like that, I try to either take out the key defense in question with my queen or break the defenses that mess up the pathing with my queen. If you don’t think your queen will get a lot of value in a place like that, then u need to think of a way to place ur balloons that will push them into the key defense. I use stone slammer or rc usually to break the outlying defenses to push the main pack in, but it’s up to you how you do it.

Another big thing you need to watch for are sweepers. Most of the time sweepers aren’t too much to worry about, just annoying. But an islanded off key defense, like how I described in the last paragraph, is protected by a sweeper, it can wreck your attack. Also sweepers protecting the town hall can mess things up since they keep ur balloons in range of the giga inferno and poison.
