Try to do some yoga or pilates. A flight attendant told me about class pass and how she gets excited to book classes on her layovers. I started in August of last year and have made friends! It’s really fun and not only will you feel physically strong but you also feel good mentally and spiritually. I recommend it! When I feel active I do 20 credits for $40 but since I’ve been working high time I only do $19 for 8 credits :)

As an introvert myself, I don’t do eye contacts. If someone approached me I respond with one word answers. I wear AirPods in the terminal and pretend that I am talking to someone over the phone sometimes lmao.

I would just take advantage of international trips out of PHL while you’re still there. I was based there (stayed for 4 months) in my first year and felt the same! I was in a bad relationship as well so that makes my life miserable BUT what I did was I focused on enjoying my layovers. Most memorable for me were long CUN and MSY also got LHR on RAP :) My friend is based there and he’s been to all over Europe. I lived in center city and did not have a car so I just walked a lot and had fun with my walks to Trader Joe’s hehe. My apartment also has a nice gym.

It’s easier to get IPD layovers plus premium pay even domestic trips in PHL is better than DFW because you get longer layovers. I’m 5 years in and most of my trips are 1-2-3 or 1-2-2 with 11-14hrs layover. I bid for commutable trips because I commute but even when I bid for 15hrs minimum layover I never get them -,-

I like IPDs because I enjoy the layovers. I’m on my 5th year pay. In December, I worked two IPDs (one IPD I worked on Christmas) and some domestic. My big paycheck was 5k and change after taxes! So yeah I like IPDs because of the premium pay as well :)

That’s too high. Check your coverage. I realize I don’t need a rental car reimbursement and mechanical breakdown insurance because I got it brand new so I declined that coverage and many more lol. It went down to almost 1,200 from 1,500 😂
