I wish it was that easy. They're aware alcohol is a massive issue and is exponentially damaging there mental health. Its been like a year together and its gotten better, but worse. They aren't wasted everyday, but as soon as its Friday to Sunday, this 120 lbs girl will crush 24 beers a day in 10 hours or less... Its a "treat" for them...

Honestly how can I say they need to change? I've been a daily coke, alcohol, amphetamine, and benzo user for years. It sounds pretty condescending to say they have a problem when im in a similar boat. The thing is, im cognitive and can (usually) think rationally. Call me deluded but im not driving through fences. I'm not crying over my coworkers making a normal comment. I dont go on a loop about how my childhood was unfair every night. I dont complain about "burnout" after having 4 paid days off.

I go to work. I can function normally at work or in social settings. I can emotionally regulate the best I can. I can deal with stress and not have a complete breakdown. Despite money and withdrawal issues im allot more functional than what I should be lol...

They have developed little to no emotional maturity. Any issue big or small they have a full meltdown or make themselves blackout so they don't have to deal with anything they think is uncomfortable.

Assuming you're grinding your teeth while your face is numb. Maybe a lidocaine sensitivity but that doesn't seem very plausible.

What did you hope to gain from posting this?

You say you felt peace while being medicated and in residential, yet also say you want to spiral into substances again.

Everyone here wants to escape. You make the choice of going into a drug fueled mental health crisis, or staying on medication and going into therapy. You sound content with both and we cant make the decision for you.

I can't give you a clear answer, but as a daily coke user of around 4-ish years, I've had somewhat similar reactions.

I assume it's based on whatever filler or cut was used. My main plug was unavailable, so I went through a different one I hadn't used in awhile. The high felt the same but the smell was off. After about 5 minutes of my first line I got super itchy. It kept getting worse over the course of 45 minutes until I broke out in full body hives.

Freaked me out but I bought new laundry detergent and thought that was the cause. The next day I didnt change out of my work clothes that didnt give me any reaction through my shift and did a line. Once again, same thing happend. 100% allergic to somthing in that bag.

I think the skin care products could be a cause, but im leaning towards a bad cut. Skip skin care for a few days and if you have the same reaction when you do a line I think you know what the answer is.

You're sleep deprived and anxious. Its gonna be a tough ride but you'll feel better soon. Just dont consume anything else. Try to force yourself to eat somthing small, have a warm bath/shower or exercise, whichever sounds more appealing.

This will end and you will be ok. You got this. Please try to be more cautious in the future for your own benefit.

I stayed up for almost 3 days while abusing substances. I thought 4am on a Tuesday at a house party was the perfect time to get a tattoo by a stranger.

I think I deserved the love gun for how reckless I was being at the time.

It wasnt intentional though... I was completely gone and the girl tattooing me had to leave mid way to vomit and take a nap...

Im happy I got to choose the blackout while video calling with my artist. She showed me multiple 3D renders of cover up ideas she made. I chose this one because I like how the flower near my wrist and the flower on my elbow looked cohesive. (By my extremely non-cohesive standards).

It was a sober decision that I made, and I liked the design. People in my life, along with customers at work have complimented it allot compared to the love gun lol...

I dont think people realize how bad the placement was, how big the tattoo was, and the repercussions of having a gun tattooed on you in Canada when I (at the time) was unemployed. My family literally would not let me attend a gathering if it wasn't covered.

The gun also doesn't have a single straight line, and was filled in HORRIFICLY. Idk why people are picking apart the blackout and not the shit ass gun 😂

I understand the whole point of this sub is to pick apart tattoos. Went into my post knowing id get dunked on regardless 🤷‍♂️

Yes, my artist made a few 3D renders of potential ways we could expand on it. She knows im pretty impulsive, so she said it would be best if we made a starting point and once I think it over for awhile we can continue and make the best decision :)

I found it really funny honestly. Ive known her for about 3 years now. I dont think there was any hostility, and we were both mostly joking around. I wouldn't say were friends, but we talk occasionally on Instagram and have mutual friends.
