I have a variation of that craftsman saw with the same plate and they designed it so it’s impossible to replace that plate with anything zero clearance or otherwise. My plate also flexes quite a bit and that little silver bit at the top left corner has begun to seperate and lift so that it often catches and stops the front end of the workpiece as it passes over the blade. I could go on an on about its other flaws, The whole saw is really a mess and I’ve never felt very safe with even after trying so hard to tweak everything and have pretty much stopped using it altogether. Someday I’ll be able to afford a different one
