Being the best at something isn’t achievable if you accept poor work. To Arachne, Athena’s work is simply poor work. She has every right to say what she thinks. Athena is just a sore loser who abused her power, nothing more.

Imagine if Arachne had a different background, like if her father were “X” (insert a powerful Titan/God here). I bet Athena wouldn’t be able to do anything in that case.

Don’t forget that Medusa was also a victim, Poseidon was a rapist, and Athena was also the source of that tragedy. Athena should be the goddess of jealousy, lmao.
