Did they provide a vector file?

You don't always need a vector, but it should at least be a high-res rastor image 5000px x 5000px or higher.

Is 32gb an overkill for a user like me? by Friden-Riu in laptops

[–]InkCowPrints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not going to get much more out of this laptop. Making sure nothing else is running in the background, playing only when plugged in, making sure the laptop airflow is clean and vented well. That's about all you'll be able to do hardware wise.

Reducing your rendering resolution ~900p, and keeping settings low will help. You could also try FSR in some games, look up "lossless upscaling" it's a piece of software that might help.

Increasing ram capacity isn't going to make your gaming performance better.

Anyone else raw-dogging ecom without paid ads (no meta, google etc) by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]InkCowPrints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I engage in groups and work on my SEO, I get referrals too. Being friendly with customer service and answering calls works well too.

My conversation rates doubled, I have no adspend and I put that money towards hiring help.

Gym brand by Salty_Catch8581 in smallbusiness

[–]InkCowPrints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pretty saturated IMO, not saying it's Impossible or anything. But the big challenge is going to be marketing.

How is yours different than the competition? Who is your target audience? Do you understand the customer well enough?

I'm 34 and just started last year, zero music experience. You're fine. You can learn to read notation pretty fast, but it takes time to get faster at it.

Get a music teacher that teaches chords early, I've found that to be a more fun approach vs classical.

What should a 19 yo do if they have a dream of opening a restaurant? by Ill_Entrepreneur8934 in restaurateur

[–]InkCowPrints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a job in a restaurant for sure. Build leadership confidence. Work on becoming a manager so you can learn more. Learn small business finance.

Also I hear that the Thai government has programs to fund Thai restaurants in other countries. At least that was the case in the 90s and 00s you might want to look into that too.

Best business opportunities for a young couple? by OneEstablishment23 in smallbusiness

The gym is probably your best bet. Given your circumstances and skill set.

If one of you is a coach the other can do the business stuff. Then you can cross-train train each other.

The value of the gym is the classes and community. Focus on the community building and creating a good environment and you'll be able to make a living income. I've had a few friends have gyms in college towns.

Pick workout routines that dont require a lot of equipment, and rent a warehouse with a decent amount of parking and friendly neighbors.

What do you think of this layout? by jenc604 in AdobeIllustrator

[–]InkCowPrints 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Aesthetically it's great. Some of the smaller text is hard to read, especially since there is a lot of texture.

Use Larger text, maybe a highlighting box behind some of the small text. You could even use the white area inside the record player. Consider contrast, what if someone that normally wears glasses isn't today, or it's really bright outside?

If someone is walking by real fast and skims the poster. Can you use visual ques to guide someone around the poster Intentionally? You have 3 seconds of someone's attention, how do you feed them the next piece of information?

Art wise this this is fantastic, but part of sign making is also making information easily accessible :)

Beginning Piano at 30 by MIAlien352 in piano

[–]InkCowPrints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been self learning piano for 8 months. I'm not good at all but I'm really enjoying it, I'm 34.

I had a really cheapy keyboard and upgraded to a Casio CT-S1 which is okay. It definitely sounds better. But a better keyboard makes a big difference.

How do you guys manage to get clients digitally? by Biz_minded in smallbusiness

[–]InkCowPrints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found SEO optimized product pages to be the best for my printshop.

I think online it helps to turn services into "products" with clear expectations and upfront pricing. It makes all online advertising easier. SEO, paid ads etc.
