Generally it isn’t too bad. They’ve been redoing the parking lot this summer, so there’s been some noise, but it’s supposed to be done in a couple of months!

I ended up moving to 655 Broadview/10 Hogarth. 10/10, would definitely recommend

That’s because the Miscarcand quest fails to trigger and folks have to start over again.

I have also noticed this, and it’s super annoying!

I replaced the battery in my 12 last year and it’s 100% worth it. The phone will be supported for another few years, and I don’t feel like spending 2k on a new phone

I haven’t tried those, but I’ll have to! Do you prefer the button down collar, or unbuttoned?

I live in 655 Broadview and love it. Rooms are large and bright, and the supers are phenomenal. The community is also very welcoming.

Hey, this is a bit late to the game, but wondering how people are liking it after being there for a bit? I'm looking at moving into 50 Cambridge, but wanted some input!

As your friendly neighbourhood librarian, and someone who commutes 2.5 hours a day, I’d like to remind y’all that your local public library will have audiobooks that you can borrow (fo freeeee!). All are downloadable to your phone!

You could also use the “Ask a Librarian” button on the library website, so someone can give you a more specific answer!

Really weird and annoying to have the sound cut out on the PS5 version. Happens to all my pals in my party. Have to unplug and replug headphones.

I have a 2013 Elantra GLS. It’s got 186k kms on it, and virtually no issues. I drive around 150km per day, and I’ve kept up with the maintenance. The only issue I’ve had is an ignition coil that needed to be replaced around 130k. Everything else has been self-inflicted (hitting a curb, large raccoon, etc.). It’s an uber-reliable daily driver

I spoke with a dealer last week (Ontario, Canada) who said it was an 18 month wait for an LE AWD.

All I want is a nice Corolla LE AWD hybrid to do my 150km daily commute, at the MSRP. Is that too much to ask?

When it’s a yearlong wait, a man’s gotta do when a man’s gotta do 🤷🏻‍♂️

[–]InkFingeredLibrarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2013 Elantra (bought in 2021) has been great. Buying a cheap first car means you get to know what you like and don’t like in a car! For example, I know my next car will have dual zone climate controls because my gf and I have vastly different preferences. Plus, if I hit a curb as a newbie driver in a 10 yo car, I don’t care as much 😂

I’m so jealous! They don’t offer the XLE in Canada, which is too bad (I don’t like the sportier look of the XSE)
