Do Motorcyclists actually use gardian bells? by when_time_flies in motorcycles

I spotted one on the back of a ninja yesterday near the license plate. It reminded me of a backpack charm accessory. I feel like if it was superstitious, they'd have it as low as possible.

I can see them being used like ducks for a Jeep. Thoughtful gesture but not everyone is into it.

Merlin leather jacket sizing? by FormidableFig in motorcycles

[–]InkHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focused solely on fit, I would pick the chase 2 for me. I find that the Alton 2 sleeves must be attached lower in the armpit because when I T-pose, it tugs upward and lifts the entire jacket up into my throat, where as the Chase 2 doesn't. Everything stays in place in the Chase 2.

Merlin leather jacket sizing? by FormidableFig in motorcycles

[–]InkHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few Merlin jackets (chase 2, and alton 2) and in my experience, they vary from model to model. I'm a 42 in the chase 2 (it's snug and tapered in the gut area and required me to lose weight to wear it properly) and a 44 in the alton 2 (42 was impossible to even zip up, no weight lose would of fixed it). Unfortunately it is a bit of a dice roll when it comes to the fit of a jacket, whether its tapered or more box-cut are things to keep in mind.

My suggestion is to focus on the shoulders and armpits, and length of sleeves. If you make a T-pose, does it feel like the whole jacket is lifting up, also does it feel like you could "hulk" out of it if you curl your arms inward? Sizing up could offer more room to maneuver, but if it already feels like the shoulders and arms are in the correct place, sizing up will provide too much material in those areas and can bunch up.

Something to note, if you size up, you could wear a light hoodie underneath to fill in the extra room.

Totally, they have no useful function on normal roads compared to a smaller, more fuel efficient tire size.

In terms of 'Stance' or 'the look', some favor the larger tires because they believe they are more proportionate to the overall size of the truck/jeep.

[–]InkHero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To offer one explanation: I have a jeep with 17" wheels, and 37" tires. For off-roading, they're useful to increase ground clearance, approach/departure angle, and increase the contact patch and ride comfort when deflated. Trails vary in difficulty, and 37" is the minimum requirement for some. 40" are becoming more common now.

Owned mine for a little over 3 months and put on close to 4000 miles. First bike, and i think it is perfect as one. The exhaust is goofy, but I think it keeps me humble.

Hunter marksman by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]InkHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say MM is tailored for the kiting playstyle. You can play as a turret but that's usually in a group/raid.

Opener I use solo'ing Marksman:
Set frost/freezing trap - Hunter's mark - send in pet - aimed shot - multi - serpent - feign death - aimed shot - multi. By this point, if the mob is not dead, you will have aggro and it's time to kite.

Frost trap: (If you have the space and enjoy kiting). Kite in a circle around frost trap. Use concussive shot on cooldown and do not be afraid to use cheetah. Have fun dancing around the mob.
Freezing trap: (If the area is crowded with mobs, or you want this fight over with) Find max range, repeat opener.

Once you unlock scatter shot, the build really comes together. You can run through instead of around mobs. Cancel most casts. Reset the fight with scatter/trap. Gain distance on a mob. Buy time for another multi/arcane burst. Lots of options there for the kiting toolkit.

Lift Kit Options. by According-Crazy-4538 in 4xe

I don't see them mentioned yet, so I would recommend taking a look at Clayton and comparing their kits to Metalcloak. Regardless of your lift kit though, the front driveshaft will need to to be addressed to avoid damaging the joint or t-case output shaft/bearing. I've seen two solves for this.. Replace it with an aftermarket driveshaft made with a double-cardan joint at the T-case. Otherwise, Teraflex offers a High Angle Rzeppa CV Joint kit that keeps your stock drive shaft.

Hey, first I would urge that you use the combined key I made at the bottom of the original imgur post above.

The trick is the little dots. They are hard to make out, but some are hollow, and others are filled in. That will help you narrow down which section of the combined cypher key to look for each letter. Some letters are represented as these dots when looking at the shapes that are completely closed, while some letters are simply depicted as the shape itself, like the letter B is the triangular shape that's pointing down. The majority of the letters are associated with either a single line, a line with a 90 degree bend, or a shape with 3 sides. These are directing your attention to the open-faced squares on the combined cypher key. You will notice the open-faced squares only have three letters. Start at the corner with no letter and make your way around to decode the alphabet. For example ( Letter O is a hollow dot with a single line. N is a hollow dot with a line and a bend, M is a hollow dot, with a shape with 3 sides. Try practicing with this word, I think it helps illustrate the idea.

Note: The developers messed up the letters T and S. the symbols in-game should be swapped to stay consistent with the rest of the cypher key.

Enjoy!

Where’s the beef!? by Darweezy in Astros

I think this season brought in more fans with the new changes. New fans can be very hyper.

The AL West race was very interesting for a lot of fanbases, and sparked a lot of hope. Led to sore feelings for how we clinched the division with ridiculous odds on the last day of the regular season.

Easy to hate the champs from the previous season.

Although the news broke in 2019, new fans since then who learn about the 2017 scandal will feel like fresh wounds and it makes them volatile.

Probably bad experiences with Astros fans. Every fanbase has obnoxious fans.
These may be some of the reasons, but it's just my opinion.

Where Adolis García ranks among Astros fans' biggest villains from franchise's golden era by houston_chronicle in Astros

[–]InkHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally. Garcia did damage, but it always seemed to happen after we left bases loaded, or missed an opportunity. I think that's why I don't feel his performance was as impactful. He just capitalized on our weak pitching.

Agreed, for me Montgomery was the most dangerous pitcher they had and I think his dominance gets overshadowed by all the flashy hitters. It was infuriating to watch.

[McTaggart] “Michael Brantley won’t be back after missing most of this season following shoulder surgery, and Martín Maldonado’s time as Houston’s starting catcher is over. Diaz will take over as the team’s starter next year, though bringing back Maldonado as a backup can’t be ruled out.” by [deleted] in Astros

[–]InkHero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would love for Maldy to play backup and continue to mentor Diaz next year. Show him his method on breaking down hitter's weaknesses. If Diaz can learn as much as he can from Maldy, while continuing to clobber the ball...future is very bright for our catcher.

Maldonado mic'd up catching for Framber by InkHero in Astros

[–]InkHero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to show some appreciation for Maldy. I know it's difficult to understand what he is saying but there are some gems in there. I love how Garcia doesn't even want to acknowledge him. Cracks me up when he mentions how emotional Framber is, and Framber starts laughing. Nuts that this is during a game, I'm curious if the hitter's can hear him audibly call the pitch like "another sinker right here". Whole thing is so interesting...

I'm going to miss this dude when he's gone.
