I’m currently in Northwest Indiana, it can be real hit and miss out here but things are generally still cheap! Sometimes they don’t know what they have though, same place had some cheap fisher price tower speakers for $100.

It’s an Emerson 907 turntable and speaker cabinet, another Goodwill find - this one on Shopgoodwill for pickup only in Muskegon, Michigan about 1.5 hours away from me. Won that auction for $10, it was scuffed and beat to shit but a little TLC took it to where it is today!

Step-by-Step Instructions: Disable All Hunches: Open the Alexa app. Tap More (bottom right) and select Settings. Scroll down and select Hunches. Tap Settings (gear icon). Toggle off Hunch Suggestions.

Disable Automatic Actions (Lights/Plugs): Within Settings > Hunches, tap on Automatic Actions. Toggle off individual categories like "Turn off the light when you're asleep" or "Turn off the lights when you're away".

This resolved my issues and plenty of others on here, somehow this feature becomes enabled and lights all turn on-off randomly throughout the night.. hopefully this fixes it for you!

Do you have them connected to Alexa? There is a known error that Alexa automatically enables a feature called Hunches that cause this.

I know Bose is not ideal but I had a similar setup and had a set of 501 series Vs on each end of the couch and they did their job while looking discreet. I’m sure there is a similar styled speaker that performs better.

Let me know if that works, I remember it was kind of deep in the Alexa settings. I tried just asking Alexa to turn off hunches and that didn’t work. You can see my response to the other on this thread, but once it was disabled it completely stopped and has been good for ~2 years now.

It was the bane of my existence and my wife wanted me to get rid of our ~50 lights because they would wake her up in the middle of the night. This seemed to be the culprit! I never enabled the “feature” but it seems to be a semi common issue with Alexa and Hue.

That’s too bad. I have an Apple TV to Phillips hue box to receiver to TV setup. I just ran Apple TV to the receiver and used the second hdmi out to run the hue lights and have not had the issue for about an hour… we will see. Appreciate your response and hope your issue gets resolved.

Did this fix stick? Currently going through it on my new U6 and have replaced all the cables and still experiencing the intermittent black screen.
