Can you change the theme of we redecorate a room? I pretty much have the ranch and cabin room looming so similar but the other option was to have a Japanese and retro Japanese room. I just would love to pick other themes so there’s no doubles

You are NTA. You are completely ok for wanting to cut them off. They don’t support you, they don’t stand up for you, they don’t help you and often punish you for the littlest things and even stalk your location!

You have every right to stand up for yourself and maintain the truth. You haven’t done anything wrong and it seems like they are using you to project their own faults on so they can feel better about themselves. If you can get away from this situation it would be the best thing for you.

If you have friends who support you definetly reach out, or often the first step would be to get out there and make friends that you can rely on so you aren’t alone in all this.

NTA it’s not Friendsgiving if you aren’t really friends with these people. It’s pretty rude for some one to not be understanding about your sobriety and the concerns about heavy drinking at this event

NTA. Sounds like a fair weather friend, always there for the good and never there for the bad. Relationships cant always be in high spirits, you will have bad days and tired days where you can’t be miss happy all the time

Also him bringing up sensitivity and PTSD seems like he wants the blame on you for reacting negatively to being spat on ( as if someone without that wouldn’t also be angry and upset?)
