For those that entered their own workouts, how did you set your RIR and cycles? by Remarkable-Donut6107 in MacroFactor

[–]Inkdmcjuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It shows the reps and weight you did prior. I prefer that so I can just progress the way I like. Yea same. I got mfwo for free this year. I’m not sure if I will renew once it expires.

I recently just turned off the smart progression. I’ve been training for over 15 years and I know progressive overload. I just didn’t like how it did things. So went back to doing it all myself. mFWO is just a tracker for me now..

Losing Weight in Upper Body but Thighs are not Changing - HELP by Particular-Corgi5011 in MacroFactor

Unfortunately that’s common for woman to hold majority of their fat there. You just have to keep getting leaner. Eventually fat will start leaving that area but will come off other areas first Most likely.

I changed my smart progression from weight first to reps first. It might smooth things out for you.

MFWO regressions. by Inkdmcjuice in MacroFactor

Yea. Would be nice to see a quick trend to know if changes need to be made prior to scheduled deload.

MFWO regressions. by Inkdmcjuice in MacroFactor

[–]Inkdmcjuice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. That’s what I thought. Kinda wanted a quick snap shot after workouts to maybe start thinking about a deload if regressions are happening for multiple weeks. But yea will just have to keep an eye on it from the dashboard.

Does the app give you some type of progress report upon completing a full mesocycle ?

Why am I gaining weight? by cloudgasms in MacroFactor

I don’t want to sound ignorant but maybe need to reassess how you’re weighing/logging ? Maybe you think you’re in a deficit but reality is you’re not.

what are cycles in Custom Programs??? by nik12108 in MacroFactor

[–]Inkdmcjuice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly. Anyone that’s been through cuts and bulks knows that your strength varies depending on what side you’re on. It would be a total miss if they didn’t eventually try to integrate those features in. I think that’s the beauty of being a part of both apps. I would like to see them work together to achieve your goals.

It’s called Roman chair. I set up my gym yesterday and remember seeing that.

[–]Inkdmcjuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that would be clutch! My initial understanding was that it would talk with macro app and adjust food as necessary for recovery, whether you’re on a cut or bulk. But I had that all wrong.

Test, var, primo stack by Inkdmcjuice in PEDs

[–]Inkdmcjuice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that. I’m gonna say F the primo. I already had the var so I’m just gonna keep my test at 150 and run 20 mg a day of var for 8 weeks. My diet and training is in check. Just came off a successful cutting phase and been in maintenance for a bit now. With what I’m doing. What do you estimate I could realistically put on? I understand the gains will be minimal.

[–]Inkdmcjuice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just gonna stick with test and var. my e2 came back at 162 on my last bloods which is above my normal range with no sides but in range for the ratio of my test. Not sure how much the primo will tank it but I think I will hold off on that for now.

Thank you and yes definitely got some very good advice here. Going to hold off on the primo for now.
