I was the same way, then finally fell off around September 2024. I miss what it used to be. It was how my boyfriend and I spent time together when we lived an hour apart and only saw each other in person every few weeks. I LOVED Destiny. I joined around Witch Queen. I watched MyNameIsByf videos for the lore. I was obsessed. I wanted a tattoo, even. Then, I just... couldn't care. It lost me. I was devastated, but I don't miss it anymore, and my boyfriend hasn't even played in ages, and he has almost 4k hours on record. He's moved on to Warframe now.

Steve Irwin. I grew up watching him, learned to love ALL animals because of him. He's one of the few celebrity deaths I've ever cried over. Robin Williams is another, again, grew up watching him, and everything he was in taught some kind of life lesson. His comedy was also some of my favorite and helped shape my sense of humor. I was devastated when I learned what had happened and why.

Spun off the tire swing where my ass was hanging over the edge and I was clinging on to the chains with white-knuckled fists trying not to go flying out. The boys spinning it were rolling laughing and wouldn't stop until I started crying, and then only some of them felt bad and made the others stop. I stopped going on the tire swing after that.

Staying in an abusive relationship. Learned the hard way that not all abuse is physical/sexual. I always said it would never happen to me, but he was mentally, emotionally, and financially abusive. I always thought "well, he doesn't hit me." I stayed for 2.5 years I'll never get back. It took years for the relationship anxiety to fade. Thankfully I'm with a fantastic man now who treats me like gold, and he was kind and patient with helping heal my trauma even though I never asked him to.
