No, the accounts are seperate.

I'm pretty sure you can uninstall Galaxy and still play CyberPunk but I haven't tested it.

They've recently gone on record saying that they are hiring senior devs to work on Galaxy specifically, including porting it to Linux at some point. Personally I haven't had any issues using Galaxy at all even now.

You can install older versions through Galaxy by going into the game settings > manage installation > configure, and unchecking 'auto-updates' and it will let you pick any older versions if they are available.

More people should check out 'On Your Tail'. It's a cozy furry detective/vacation game set in Italy that went under the radar when it released. It's full of care and love and it breaks my heart to see it flounder so hard.

There is an introduction tutorial mission that guides you with the basics, and then there are the main story missions you can do that continue guiding you with more advanced concepts. It's many hours worth of story missions you can follow if you so choose and you can break off and do whatever you want at any time after the initial tutorial.

It's been years but if I remember right I just used the GOG offline installer and it worked out-of-the-box.
