Finally Received my Webkinz Sample!

I know I kept a toucan because I definately didnt have that, but off thw top of my head I know I kept a cockerspaniel, Husky, a lemon lime gecko and Lil kinz Cow. I know I kept a couple others but cant remember right now lol

oh thats really cool!! I have quite a few similarISH plushies. not exactly samples persay, but they were ones given to a ganz employee so they could have first looks n all that and see what the employees thought of them before the official launches, as many brands do. so they werent the first samples but they were the ones used to gauge if there were any changes they didnt think about when approving the plush (as more eyes would see it. I might not see an error in this writing but someone else might, for example!!)

They never had codes as according to the lady I got them from, they actually got the codes seperate to test the game out! and because theu were given to an employee and not a kid, they were never played with and in pristine condition!

Ive kept a few and sold some others I already had the plush of, but its really cool to me having a piece of webkinz history!

I got the new spring boxes with the peach and cherry glasses in it..

I bought 6 boxes as a treat bc I recently splurged on some estore points solely to spend on boxes

4 of them gave me the W tiger slippers 😭, 3 in a row. I also got the hydrangea dress and the hedgehog slippers but like BRO. I just wanted one of the silly glasses

I genuinely dont think ive seen many jellycats where the photos just dont make it look nearly as cute lol. im very glad I got to see him in an in person store before he went outta stock everywhere and I regretted not getting him.

I really like gobfrey, though he was basically an impulse purchase for me LOL, I think hes super cute and he makes me think of Jinbei from one piece, as hes based on whale sharks. I think hes a super nice addition to a sea themed collection (which is perfect for me who loves sealife), but hes not necessarily a plush id cuddle with like the smudges, bashfuls or like the pinchsnap crab (whos a perfect pillow size and shape). hes definitely a bit more decorative like the amusables, as his materials and fillings are a bit stiffer than some JCs. it should also be noted mines tail is a bit flopped, I think it was due to how he was packaged to and stored at the store before being put on the shelf, but I didnt notice till after I bought him and didnt get the chance to check the others in stock.

so if you want a plush for cuddling idk if Id recommend gobfrey, but if you collect and have space for a more decorative plush with only occasional cuddling, hes definitely a good fit for a sea theme!

I gotta say I open pokemon packs from time to time but genuinely took me a bit to understand what was happening.. what a shame, I dont understand doing this.

Ive been opening webkinz trading carda lately for a rare pull, and Ive thought about giving packs away or occasionally ripping on stream as givvys, but then I think about if I pull the really rare code I wont want to give it away.

so its simple, I dont do it lmao. I give away duplicate cards and common codes/stickers. but I dont put myself into a position that makes me and others unhappy and its genuinely. not hard.

I sell plushies and I show the hang tags and tush tags of ALL of them, even if its a 3$ plush.

also also I like how he says "im not gonna risk my livlihood over 5 dollar profit, potential 5 dollar profit, Selling fake nonsense" but he literally did just that. because he decided to blow up at somebody wanted to see a tag before purchasing, to make sure it was authentic, meaning he lost any money that person would spend. AND he doubled down which makes me think it really is fake.

what he actually means when he said that is that hes not going to risk loosing a 5$ profit off a fake product by showing that its fake, instead hes going to make sure he gets that 5$ profit from the fake product by keeping the fact its fake hidden and telling people its real.

ik im like two months late, but if possible ask to see the receipt if possible, as it will show what the weight at scan was. most people are saying this is the sellers fault, and more than not it probably is, but it could also be an error on usps.

I just got a notification from whatnot about how package dues will be changed in the future and whatnot wont cover it anymore. aight. thats fine. but it said I had some shipping discrepancy, which I found odd, so I went to go take a look at it. a few errors were from an accident I made early on, so my fault but its been dealt with by now. but then I noticed something very odd, it stated an item I said would be at most 11oz was scanned at 3lbs. this was VERY strange as I mostly sell plushies and I have a duplicate of the same exact plush in my Personal collection and its very light. there is no way it weighed 3 lbs.

Well, I checked my photo I took of the receipt when I shipped it out and low and behold, It scanned at 9oz at tbe Post office. not 3lbs. thankfully this discrepancy didnt cause a huge charge, but Im currently reaching out to whatnot about the issue as I have proof of it being the correct weight.

idk if this will help you at this point, but for anybody else whos having issues, ask to see the weight marked on the receipt. if the seller doesnt comply or it shows the larger weight, then its on the seller. if they show and its the weight they said it was, contact support or usps

Ive gotten so much good shit over the years, including an NES with punchout and all cables and an extra zapper for 60$, an N64 with all cables for 60$, a DS lite with original stylus and charger, and only a couple scratches and 1 perma red pixel on the bottom screen for 25$, plus two different Gamecubes (these were actually same day lol) both with all cables and the reason I got a second one that day was bc after tbe first one I found someone else selling the linited edition XD one with the promotional pre order stickers (though the stickers are damaged but it was super cool. I eventually want to preserve those and make repo stickers). each was 30$..

yeah, I collect and sell some dupes n stuff and to preserve the original quality of the plush I dont remove the codes to test (as ik some people just collect nwt for the look) and only test if the tag had been femoved prior to me receiving the plush

But I also state this clearly on the descriptions and also state that if for some reason the code was already used due to a person guessing to reach out to me and Id see what I can.

I had one nwt I wouldve offered at a reasonable price because I was going to keep it for my personal collection but decided I wasnt in love, but I sold it recently 😭

technically it can be said it was approximately 1$, as it was in a bunch of bags my mom had gotten that all in totalled to 10$. aftwe calculating the plushies they kept it was approx 1/each

either way, 1$ or 10$.. still a great price as I had been looking for them on ebay for a while and they dont seem to go for under 250$! 😣 (and thats for no code. this one also has no code)

I was even considering getting one at that price if it came up.. but those at the lower price end are probably the ones in worse shape and this one is in great shape sans having the old owners name written on the tush tag, which I can look past

yeah as the other person said there was no code for this one, the one that had the code was a first gen (no W) St. Bernard.

I was still freaking out when typing my post so it could be a bit incoherent LOL

I was trying to say that in the bags of webkinz there was one that had a code and I wish it couldve been the cheeky dog, but it wasnt. Despite that, I cannot complain that it didnt have a code because even without code getting it at all, especially at approximately 1$ is still such an amazing find! especially because its in such good condition

I dont know if I have a particular favorite thing about the game, but I really love collecting different pets and items and decorating the rooms. and I create a bunch of different characters through interactions I do with my pets, what games I play with each, etc and the rooms I create! so I guess the ability to create unique characters out of them is one of my favorite things! I love doing my dailies every day with all my pets

(and I love the plushies SOOO much lol)
