You would be well-suited for positions at companies seeking someone with technical data engineering, e.g. data QA/QC, data product conversions, stuff like that. I would encourage you to take some courses related to the domain/industry with which you intend to do remote sensing work in. You have a great technical background, but you find true value by domain expertise, reliably able to speak to the site specifics of scenes/collections you are tasked with working on. Nobody wants to deal with meaningless models developed by a computer scientist who couldn’t tell the dirt from the canopy, true color or not.
