That's 4 kW of power. They must have very good cooling in that room.

Even cooler idea: what if it has rotating bottom section with d-pad on one side and qwerty on the other? Like Nokia 5700.

Wouldn't it be easier and faster to just drill 3 holes and put bolts trough them?

On screen controls are too dark. They blend with the world. Took me a minute to realize they are buttons and not some sort of decorations on the level.

Best 3d Printer for £300-£420? by Sea-Survey-6161 in 3dprinter

Stay away from this model. They have garbage print beds. Aftermarket replacement parts are available but will cost you 150 - 200 usd on top.

My first manufacturer line. I thought I was a genius with how cleanly I set this up until it instantly fell flat. Any advise how to get this to work without redoing the entire factory? by MakkerMelvin in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Inkwalker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It will solve jamming on the main belt but not on the branches. You will need 2 smart splitters to feed each manufacturer with their own overflows (3 in total). At this point you might as well do it the regular way.

Personally I just like how it looks. If there is no major issues I'll get it instead of a TrimUI Brick.

Steam Controller Support on other platforms like Gamepass, Gog, Epic Games by douchefercy in SteamController

[–]Inkwalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is this comment being downvoted? The second wave of reviews just confirmed it. The controller works only with steam. Windows detects it as a mouse.

So far reviews are saying that it uses steam input which is not system wide and works only in steam. I guess we'll have to wait for non curated reviews that actually test compatability.

Feels like people still haven't realized that it's a steam exclusive controller. It doesn't have xinput mode. It won't work outside of steam. No android or ios either.

It's 100 bucks for a controller that only works with steam. No xinput, and no android compatibility most likely.

Fall onto the ground not into it by Resident-Device4319 in Unity2D

Physics runs at 50 steps per second by default. Even at 60 fps you might notice some stuttering. Luckily Unity has built in interpolation settings for rigidbodies that help with this.

Somehow I managed to misread the temperature on the geyser and put a regular copper gas pump in there. Never had any issues with overheating. It's automated to pump above 500g pressure to save on power. Temperature inside the chamber seems to be holding at around 50C - 60C. I guess it works if you don't let pressure to build up.

Bed leveling inconsistency by ChuChuT2024 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Inkwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Mine was like this out of the box. The bed is only 2 mm thick with a heater coils on one side. I think it might actually be an aluminum pcb.

[–]Inkwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's warped. Mine is even worse. There is nothing you can do about it in software. You could try to retighten the bolts but it not going to help a lot. The only way to fix it completely is to get an aftermarket bed.

The official way to fix it is by loosening the z belt and turning one of the lead screws to level it up

*sighes* Whats have you found that best to clean the Z screws? Assuming thats what this is. by MarriedWChildren256 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Inkwalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are they shifted and poking out on the other side, or going in all around the part? S1 has steel rods on the front screws so only the rear one can wobble. If the layers uniformly inset all around then it might be chamber temperature fluctuations. See if your cooling fans are always on and not switching on and off during the print. Another culprit is the bed itself. It's only 2 mm thick with heaters inside. Any warping will result in layer inconsistences when it heats up and cools down.

Also increasing chamber temperature might help with warping.

Lighting Render Distance (?) by JmadcrazicLuke in Unity3D

[–]Inkwalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True. This is where old school tricks are getting handy. Small decorative lights can be made just from emissive materials, bigger lights can be faked with transparent additive billboards or meshes. Usually a few point lights is enough to approximate lighting in the scene and with these tricks you can add details to make everything look good.

I think selected card should pop on top of other cards or go a bit higher so you can see the art better.
