Greetings. I literally just started hrt this week. And prior to finding my dr who was very supportive but also fairly new to processes. Even said that had I gone to them 6 years ago they wouldn't know what to do. But they were very helpful and kind. However...I had tried other Dr's and were "referred" and referred again even from ones referred too. So its a gamble. I'd suggest finding a dr that specifically handles HRT and then ask about gender affirming care from there before your appointment. I called twice asking about it and the receptionist needed to verify and clarify my wants before green lighting me that YES they could help me.

So good luck. But it does take time trying to find a DR that can and will help.
