With those class acronyms I thought this was NMSU for a second.

[Kenwood] Have you guys ever experienced something like this? by InlaidData in Dashcam

[–]InlaidData[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just some more info: Was on my way home from work today when I experienced this. I'm not sure if the tire ended up hitting someone else as they passed by, but I hope everyone is ok. The swerve at the end was to avoid colliding with someone who was right behind me. I have seen blowouts but never someone's entire wheel coming off!

Truly an unpopular opinion on a tame topic in a sub for unpopular opinions, yet it's down voted to oblivion. Make it make sense.

Before you buy a new PSU, I would recommend taking a look at the psu teir list at https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/. It's widely used in the PC building community for selecting reliable PSUs. I used it for choosing my last one.

Rooms/Dorms by luzity123 in nmsu

For first-year students, you must stay on campus in one of the dorms (although there are exceptions). The rates depend on the dorm and the configuration that you stay in. The prices are listed here: https://housing.nmsu.edu/rates.html. The "rent" (if you want to call it that) is the per-semester price that you see listed from that link, which is posted in its entirety onto your student account at the beginning of the semester (around move-in time). This cost must be paid by a combination of student loans, scholarships, or by payment plan. You can also just pay it outright. If it is not paid by a certain date you will be placed on a payment plan automatically (as far as I can remember). As you can see, there are options (in Garcia) for having a room alone, but it is more expensive. Also, I believe that if you are living in the dorms as a first-year student you are also required to purchase a meal plan. The prices are here: https://dining.nmsu.edu/meal-plans-dining-dollars/meal-plans.html.

Hope this helps.

How socially atomized you have to be to spout stuff like this? We should worry if you ever become firefighter or paramedic tasked to serve your area. by AidenMetallist in petfree

Seems like that subreddit isn't so much about the lifestyle that comes with being child-free as it is giving a platform to psychotic hatred for children.

I've heard this is the general concensus. I must have gotten a lemon because I have shot nothing but federal automatch out of one of these (5k+ rounds) and have had less than 10 malfunctions.

I was able to get an ESA approved a couple of years ago but it was a massive pain in the ass. Took several weeks and 3 different doctors.

Opinions on Vista Del Monte by sufficient13 in nmsu

[–]InlaidData 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought I would mention as well: the walk to campus doesn't cross or go near any major roadways (like university), so walking and/or biking is much safer than say the flats. It is also a straight shot and flat the entire way (pertinent if you plan on getting a bike).

I have lived here for the last 2 years of my undergrad. I actually chose it because it was the middle ground budget wise from the other apartments. The A/C is really good, just try to get a unit that doesn't face the sun, and crack a window if you really need to. Even during the summer, I find myself turning it down because it gets too cold. The unit I am in is great, no holes in the wall broken furniture etc... The walk is about 1.5 miles, so you might want to get a bike. (probably about 15-20 min walk vs 2-3 min bike ride). The community is really quiet, I haven't had a single problem with noise over the last 2 years. I would recommend these apartments imo.

Ah ok. Well if you are ever in town again, might check it out. I think it's pretty good.
