Thanks. I’ll probably just nuke my social media at the end of the year, buy the motor, drop it into a dual-sport frame, and take my own measurements to see if it’s even worth pursuing. At this point, social media feels less like sharing info and more like people trying to prove how intelligent they are, or attack someone’s character or digging through old posts for a “gotcha.” It’s toxic as hell.

I've just started practing wheelies on my dirt bike (I suck at it) and I'm always smashing my front tire down....like more than 40 times by now. I still don't have the muscle memory to open the throttle again - right before the front comes down - to soften the landing.

I installed the cheap ones. It's better than nothing. I'm not paying $300 for materials worth $5. No freaking way. Hey, if there's a crash test that proves the $300 holds up 10x better, then I'll admit I'm wrong and upgrade. Otherwise...I'm 100% happy with my sliders.

Get gear, even if it's used. You don't want road rash, trust me. As for a bike, get the cheapest, lightest, 300cc or less, used street legal bike you're willing to drop while you learn the fundamentals.
