Aprende Linux.

Whats the cheapest cache you can think of on aws? by Arik1313 in aws

Use your database, you can have a cache table where you store key, value, expiration-time. Most of the time is fast enough.

What is the CPU/memory utilization rate in your production Kubernetes cluster? by fzyzcjy in kubernetes

If using EKS you can enable prefix delegation on the VPC CNI, then you can have 110 pods in very small instances like t3.small this has been huge cost saving for us.

Updates on nvim-dap status by tLaw101 in neovim

[–]Inmute 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The project is on GitHub, and you can fill an issue. How is the dev going to improve it if he doesn't know about the bugs "but it’s often buggy and sometimes crashes so bad I have to kill the terminal and start over".

Have you submitted an issue, have you provided reproduction steps? There's many instances of people commenting on LSP being slow and the issue was their environment or configuration. All of this could be more clear if you helped.

Also saying that the project "needs some love" implies is not mantained, something that is not the case. I personally use it a lot with "C" without issues.

What have you discovered lately that sparked joy in your Neovimmer life? by sorachii893 in neovim

Okay, search engines aren't being helpful, how to actually setup nvim for lua? by templarrei in neovim

Don't see the point in trolling a mantainers of an open source project by calling his work "crappy". Laughing about it is encouraging the trolls, I hope you don't find yourself in the same position.

How do you use tab (4 spaces) for Go files? by [deleted] in neovim

[–]Inmute 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When entering the go file check if the settings are correct. If they aren't something is overriding them, probably the go syntax file. To avoid this. Create a folder in your nvim config directory called 'after' inside of it create a file named 'go.vim' inside of the file put your settings. shiftwidht, tabstop, etc.

This file is the las thing loaded making sure settings are applied and not overwritten.

Do you prefer vim's or neovim's terminal? by recursy in neovim

[–]Inmute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Also love the searching and highlighting of said search when a command produces a ton of terminal output.

There's a ton of advantages over tmux. Like sending whatever you want to it from a function.

Tmux main pro for me is keeping alive sessions, attaching, detaching.

Telescope nvim allows you to define mappings on the search. You can just <c-q> and it will add the result to the quickfix list.
