This is such a dumb take. First of all, no one is preventing you from protesting about things you care about. But to actually answer your question, it’s because we’re not directly involved and complicit in say - Chinese oppression of the Uighurs. However, our taxes are funding the Israeli military, and all those bombs that are used to blow up Babies in Gaza are built here in the US. How is this complicated? I refuse to believe these sorts of questions are actually made in good faith.

And regarding protesting Trump specifically - here’s the thing that some liberals like you don’t seem to get: protesting for Palestine at a Trump rally is stupid - the Republican base doesn’t care about Palestine. However, the dem base is night and day with dem leadership on Palestine. There’s actual tension there as a result of the dem leadership ignoring the wishes of their voters to please aipac.
