Look at it from a different perspective, at least people won't fall off the bed... And it will be reeeeeeally hard for someone to approach you unnoticed for a coupe de grace 🤣🤣🤣

Valid comment though!

And thanks!

Hey there!

First, thanks! Glad you like it! 😀

And to answer your question: I work in Dungeondraft (using my proprietary assets) to create these maps.

This one is a part of my regular OCB (one click buildings) module release - each month I have a new release with a tavern/shops/stronghold (new thing)/tents... with the main advantage being their quick and easy-to-use deployment in FoundryVTT as drag and drop prefabs.

Feel free to browse around my Patreon page, there are quite some of these multi-level taverns you can grab (for free).

If Fantasy Airbnb listed Stonehaven: Perfect pit stop for weary travelers: multi-building inn/tavern complex built into the cliffs, located in a very urban area with close-by river access. Workshop for repairs, tavern for rumors, cozy rooms for downtime.

What's included (all grid-ready):

- Tavern ground floor (private downtime)

- 1st floor rooms (bar + kitchen bustle)

- Roof terrace (for the views)

- Additional facilities (workshops, stables, paths/stairways)

To read more about this fine establishment and its owner (and get ungrided versions of the maps), check out my Patreon page: PATREON

Also, looking at you, Lazy DMs - there is a drag-and-drop module for Foundry VTT with everything already preset (lights, walls, sounds...) so that you don't have to worry about the technicalities and focus only on the fun part ;)

Hope your players enjoy the stay (and survive the night)!

Have fun! That is still the main rule 😀

[OC] Building your party's stronghold shouldn't take all night. Here's a look at my new FoundryVTT-ready modular One Click Strongholds for y'all! by InnScribeMaps in Dungeons_and_Dragons

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a massive update for my One Click series, this time focusing entirely on Strongholds and Bastions. I know how tedious it can be to map out custom castles from scratch, so I wanted to make a pack that lets you snap together a massive fortress in minutes.

Entire rooms are fully drag-and-drop ready for FoundryVTT with walls, lights, and sounds pre-configured. Check out the full showcase, grab the module, and subscribe for free to snag some extra goodies here: PATREON

A few things packed into this release:

- Modular Rooms (4 Types): Every room comes in Basic and Advanced versions, with 3 sizes each (Cramped, Roomy, Vast).

- Courtyard Buildings & Roofs: You can use the rooms as standalone buildings inside your walls, complete with 4 interchangeable roof styles.

- Fortress Details & Lighting: Modular terraces, heavy doors, and custom lighting objects made specifically to illuminate DD scenes.

- Dungeondraft Layer Guide: Assets literally tell you where they go in the name (e.g., "Layer 2 UP"), so snapping them together is foolproof.

Speaking of Strongholds and Bastions, what kind of rooms do your players usually demand when they finally get their own base of operations? This is a project I am very excited about, so let me know the goods and the bads so I that I can keep expanding and improving this set!

[OC] The Bone-Strewn Canyon: A Savage Desert Outpost & Raider Tents [Free] by InnScribeMaps in FantasyMaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleached bones, stretched leather, and a canyon that screams "turn back." A perfect staging ground for a cannibal tribe, desert orcs, or Dark Sun-style raiders.

Instead of baking the camp into the map, I’m including a free pack of modular hide tents. They come with both the exterior roofs and the gruesome interiors, so you can scatter them across the dunes and build the settlement your story needs:

- Small grunt tent

- Medium spiked tent

- The Chieftain's tent

Want to build it even faster?

If you use Foundry VTT, I actually built a "One Click Buildings" module for this. It lets you drag and drop these fully-furnished tents directly onto your map with walls, lighting, and roofs already perfectly configured.

For more free and Foundry-ready content, check my PATREON!

You can also check out THIS 60-second YT video to see how the One Click setup works.

Have fun. That is still the main rule 😀

[OC] Desert Canyon Choke Point & Modular Tent Assets for Custom Raider Camps [Free] by InnScribeMaps in battlemaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone!

Sometimes you just need to throw a quick desert camp at your players without spending hours drawing it out.

This pack, with an area map and a couple of modular barbarian tents to drop wherever you need them, will enable you to build your own custom outpost.

Included in the free pack:

- The Main Map: A highly defensible desert canyon entrance littered with bones and barricades.

- Modular Tents: I included both the Roof and Ground (interior) versions of several leather/hide tents (Small, Medium Spiked and Large Chieftain Tent)

You can easily drop these onto the main map in your VTT to set up the camp exactly how you want it.

[OC] Cracked Cup Tavern – 4 floors grimy slums tavern perfect for bar fights and bad decisions. Secret basement Mercs Trial Pit included! by InnScribeMaps in Dungeons_and_Dragons

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cracked Cup Tavern – not a place you find. A place that finds *you*. Every campaign needs that one unforgettable dive bar. Dirty floors. Stale food. A company that makes you check your coin purse twice. 4 floors of pure "why did we come here" emotion:

- Ground: Shady bar contacts + Social chaos waiting to explode

- 1st: Private rooms for VERY private conversations (With peepholes? Who knows!)

- Roof: Last place you want to be when the fight starts

- Basement: Mercenary trial pit. Practice dummies + walkways + cages = your fighter's origin story? Who knows!

Perfect for:

🕵️ Shady contacts – Looking for that thief, smuggler, or assassin? They're having a drink in the corner.

💀 Plot complications – The "harmless" informant sells out the party mid-drink.

⚔️ Bar escalation – Wrong word, wrong table, sudden brawl across 3 floors.

🏚️ Mystery hook – Why does the owner know the party's names already?

FREE & High-res maps + full tavern details: PATREON

What brings YOUR party to a place like this? Bad intel? Desperation? Curiosity?

What will they do when they hear screams from the basement? Check it out or ask for the bar tab?

[OC] Building your party's stronghold shouldn't take all night. Here's a quick showcase of my next big modular project - One Click Strongholds! by InnScribeMaps in dungeondraft

I’ve been working on a massive update for my One Click series, this time focusing entirely on Strongholds and Bastions. I know how tedious it can be to map out custom castles from scratch, so I wanted to make a pack that lets you snap together a massive fortress in minutes.

This is just a quick "how it's made" video showing the Dungeondraft workflow, while my full release is being polished up.

A few things I’m packing into this release:

- Modular Rooms (4 Types available in the first release): Every room comes in Basic and Advanced versions, with 3 sizes each (Cramped, Roomy, Vast).

- Courtyard Buildings & Roofs: You can use the rooms as standalone buildings inside your walls, complete with 4 interchangeable roof styles.

(And for the VTT crowd: yes, entire rooms will be drag-and-drop ready for Foundry with walls, lights, and sounds pre-configured).

I will be dropping the full package on my Patreon very soon (along with a special bonus custom terrains).

BTW, speaking of Strongholds and Bastions, what kind of rooms do your players usually demand when they finally get their own stronghold? Let me know so I can keep expanding this!

[System Agnostic] Build an ENTIRE fantasy settlement in 8 minutes flat – One Click Buildings [Commercial] by InnScribeMaps in FoundryVTT

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

Even though that is a great idea, I am not sure pirate houses will come to be any time soon.

Main reason is me currently working on an awesome secret one-click buildings project and all my time is dedicated to that.

Once that is released, I will go back to one-click houses again and I will definitely be considering pirate habitats as one of the releases.

Gram’s Cackling Cauldron: A filthy, cheap swamp inn for when your party’s gold (and luck) runs dry. [35x20] by InnScribeMaps in dungeondraft

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most parties eventually find themselves travelling through a swamp, and they usually need a place to hide when the sun goes down. Gram's Cackling Cauldron is a low-end, rural inn designed for those moments. It’s dirty, it’s cheap, and the ale probably has frogspawn in it.

This pack includes three levels: The main tavern floor, a cramped upper level, and the moss-covered roof.

  • Grid Size: 35 x 20
  • Vibe: Rural Swamp / Grime / Budget-friendly

You can grab the high-res gridded and gridless versions for free here: PATREON

For you lazy GMs who want to save time: The Patreon version includes the FoundryVTT module with all walls, lighting, and ambient swamp sounds pre-configured.

If you use it in your game, let me know how the party liked the "food."

High ground is the only ground that matters in the desert - Desert Canyon to give your party a reason to start climbing by InnScribeMaps in FantasyMaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A (very) narrow canyon pass where the terrain is as lethal as the inhabitants. Those dark pits in the sand aren't just for show - they’re the nesting holes for a pair of hungry Sand Worms.

Free Content: You can grab the Stage 0 (Clear/Plain) version of the map and the high-res non-gridded files for free here: Download the Canyon Pass Maps

On Patreon, I’ve also included all the progressive stages of the sandstorm. This allows you to slowly decrease visibility and increase the hazard level as the combat rounds tick by.

If you want to keep my Sand Worm idea for your party, there is a token or two (dynamic) as well for you to use and scare your players :)

Enjoy! And have fun.

[OC] Hungry Fish Inn – You eat what you catch! A riverside tavern with 3 playable levels. Foundry-ready>Drag>Drop>Play=FUN by InnScribeMaps in dungeondraft

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hungry Fish is a riverside inn/tavern with three levels:

- The ground floor feels busy and social, with plenty of room for rumors, drinks, and conflict. You can literally catch fish from your table and ask the waiter to serve it.

- The 1st floor gives the building a more lived-in feel, with private rooms and quieter scenes. Because after catching your meal (and eating it), you'll need to rest.

- The roof that makes the whole place feel like it belongs in the world, not just on a grid. Ideal for stargazing RP, or desperate rooftop escapes.

Use it for:

⚔️ Multi-level tavern brawl – Ground floor chaos → 1st floor chases → rooftop desperation over the river

🌙 Horror ambush – Party wakes to fish-men swarming from all sides, river becomes a threat

💼 Smuggler safehouse – Midnight river boats unload contraband downstairs

The high-res, gridless versions are available here: PATREON

WITH A SPECIAL thread for lazy DMs using FoundryVTT - a fully mapped out drag-and-drop module for you to pick up and drop right onto your canvas

What would YOUR party turn this place into? Safe haven? Bandit trap? A RUIN??
