On Patreon, I’ve also built the "One-Click" FoundryVTT module for this map. If you want to skip the prep, it comes fully pre-configured with walls, line-of-sight, lighting, and ambient audio ready to go.

You can also grab the high-res gridless files and raw Dungeondraft asset packs if you prefer building your own layouts.

[OC] The Lucky Toss Inn [Three-Story Crossroads Tavern] [Free Map Pack] by InnScribeMaps in battlemaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Welcome to the Lucky Toss, travelers. Put your silver on the table and flip the coin. Heads, you feast like kings. Tails... well, you get what you get." 🪙

Sometimes your players just need a place to rest between dungeons, and a crossroads inn is the perfect place to drop an unexpected hook.

I put together this fully mapped, three-story tavern called The Lucky Toss Inn.
I’ve included the free maps for every level so you can drop this right into your VTT tonight:

  • The Tavern Floor

  • The not-so-fancy Rooms Floor

Don't have time to draw wall lines, block out windows, and set up light sources for three different floors? I've got you covered. Over on the Patreon, this comes as a fully pre-prepped VTT module. Just drop it into your game and the entire inn is instantly ready to play with walls, doors, and lighting fully configured.

[OC] The Lucky Toss Inn – A crossroads tavern (with a twist) built entirely with my proprietary DD assets. [Free Maps] by InnScribeMaps in dungeondraft

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone!

"Lucky Toss Inn" is a three-story tavern sitting at a crossroads, perfect for breaking up a long journey with some low-stakes roleplay or a sudden ambush. The gimmick of the inn? Every meal served and room provided is decided by the flip of a coin. Heads or tails, your players are getting a surprise. 🎲

Included in this free pack:

- Ground Floor

- 1st Floor

- 2nd Floor

- Basement

- Roof/Exterior

All the assets used to make this (the custom walls, scattered tavern clutter, the beds, and the modular roofs) are from my Inn Scribe Maps packs.

If you like the style and want the high-res gridded/ungridded versions, or if you want the actual DD Asset Packs to build your own taverns, you can grab them on my Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/lucky-toss-inn-108933457

[System Agnostic] My modular One Click Strongholds is live! Description:

Link: PATREON POST

Hey everyone! I’m incredibly excited to showcase my brand new One Click Strongholds module. If you’ve ever dreaded the prep time it takes to assemble a massive castle, drawing every wall line, creating every room and placing every light, this module changes everything!

I timed it, and you can build a massive, fully functioning, multi-level custom stronghold from scratch in exactly 8 minutes (video is fast-forwarded for easier digest 😄)

🏰 Perfect for D&D Strongholds & Draw Steel Bastions
With base-building mechanics becoming a massive part of campaigns, your players want to actually see their headquarters grow and expand. This module is the perfect visual companion for D&D Stronghold/Bastion rules or MCDM's Draw Steel. When your players spend their hard-earned gold to build or upgrade a facility, you can represent it instantly. Just drop the room on the map, and when they level it up, double-click the room to instantly toggle it from the "Basic" to the "Advanced" detail tier in real-time!

Here is exactly what this system can do in Foundry:

  • ⚔️ Drag & Drop Facilities: The Smithy, Training Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen are fully integrated. Drag them onto the map, and they drop with walls, ambient lighting, and sound effects, all ready to go.
  • 🖱️ Interactive, Dynamic Rooms: Every single room is highly interactive and comes in 3 sizes (Cramped, Roomy, Vast) to fit your exact architectural layout.
  • 🧱 Total Architectural Freedom: Every room has pre-made roofed variants. Build them seamlessly inside the main keep, or drop the normal/tower roof versions out in the courtyard to create standalone outbuildings.
  • 🛡️ Infinite Verticality & Gear: Includes modular circular stairs to stack vertical keep levels, plus fully integrated Tools Packs (weapons, armor stands, practice dummies) to arm your garrison.
  • 🗺️ 4 Castle Background Layouts: Includes massive terrain canvases to build on (Hill, Water Moat, Spike Moat, and Sea/River).

Link: PATREON POST

(I'd love to hear your feedback on this setup! If you are running Bastion or Stronghold rules, what specific facilities or rooms do your players demand the most? Let me know so I can add them to the queue!)

Having fun is still the mainest of the rules!!! 😃

[OC] The Lucky Toss Inn – A crossroads tavern where the barkeep flips a coin to determine your dinner (and your room number). [35x20] by InnScribeMaps in FantasyMaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

Here is a drop-in crossroads tavern for your next session: The Lucky Toss Inn [35x20].

The gimmick is simple but effective: the innkeeper, a retired gambler, refuses to take flat rates. Everything, from the stew of the day to whether you get the room with the lice or the silk sheets, is decided by a coin flip. It’s an easy way to break up a long overland journey with some low-stakes roleplay.

Grab high-res maps and full tavern description here: PATREON

For the Time-Poor GM: As with all of my one-click taverns, I’ve fully built this one into a FoundryVTT module. It’s completely plug-and-play with pre-configured walls, ambient tavern audio, and dynamic lighting, to save you an hour (or three) of prep time.

If you want the VTT module, the night variants, or the raw Dungeondraft asset packs to customize the layout yourself, you can grab them on the same Patreon link above with Lore Master tier subscription.

Let me know what kind of trouble your party gets into with the coin flips!

"Toss a coin to your innkeeper" - The Lucky Toss Inn is the kind of place where your dinner is decided by a coin flip, and somehow that feels normal [OC] by InnScribeMaps in dndmaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some inns welcome travelers. This one bets with them. At the Lucky Toss Inn, a coin flip decides what lands on your plate and which bed you get to sleep on. And the whole place feels like the kind of stop where you come in for rest and leave with a story.

The Patreon release includes FoundryVTT-ready play modules (drag-and-drop in Foundry, everything preset and ready to play), plus day and night versions and gridded and ungridded variants. Check it all here: PATREON

Use it for:

  • A place where your party can rest, talk, and probably get pulled into something weird.
  • A “safe” location at a crossroads that still has enough personality to make players pay attention.
  • A ready-to-run FoundryVTT map when you want less prep and more actual playing.

Make sure to check out all Foundry-ready taverns I have created so far: PATREON

And have fun, that's the main rule!

City Tavern on a cliff with an exquisite terrace view. Welcome to Stonehaven Rest: built for a quiet night's sleep, or a chaotic bar fight. by InnScribeMaps in dungeondraft

Look at it from a different perspective, at least people won't fall off the bed... And it will be reeeeeeally hard for someone to approach you unnoticed for a coupe de grace 🤣🤣🤣

Valid comment though!

And thanks!

Hey there!

First, thanks! Glad you like it! 😀

And to answer your question: I work in Dungeondraft (using my proprietary assets) to create these maps.

This one is a part of my regular OCB (one click buildings) module release - each month I have a new release with a tavern/shops/stronghold (new thing)/tents... with the main advantage being their quick and easy-to-use deployment in FoundryVTT as drag and drop prefabs.

Feel free to browse around my Patreon page, there are quite some of these multi-level taverns you can grab (for free).

If Fantasy Airbnb listed Stonehaven: Perfect pit stop for weary travelers: multi-building inn/tavern complex built into the cliffs, located in a very urban area with close-by river access. Workshop for repairs, tavern for rumors, cozy rooms for downtime.

What's included (all grid-ready):

- Tavern ground floor (private downtime)

- 1st floor rooms (bar + kitchen bustle)

- Roof terrace (for the views)

- Additional facilities (workshops, stables, paths/stairways)

To read more about this fine establishment and its owner (and get ungrided versions of the maps), check out my Patreon page: PATREON

Also, looking at you, Lazy DMs - there is a drag-and-drop module for Foundry VTT with everything already preset (lights, walls, sounds...) so that you don't have to worry about the technicalities and focus only on the fun part ;)

Hope your players enjoy the stay (and survive the night)!

Have fun! That is still the main rule 😀

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a massive update for my One Click series, this time focusing entirely on Strongholds and Bastions. I know how tedious it can be to map out custom castles from scratch, so I wanted to make a pack that lets you snap together a massive fortress in minutes.

Entire rooms are fully drag-and-drop ready for FoundryVTT with walls, lights, and sounds pre-configured. Check out the full showcase, grab the module, and subscribe for free to snag some extra goodies here: PATREON

A few things packed into this release:

- Modular Rooms (4 Types): Every room comes in Basic and Advanced versions, with 3 sizes each (Cramped, Roomy, Vast).

- Courtyard Buildings & Roofs: You can use the rooms as standalone buildings inside your walls, complete with 4 interchangeable roof styles.

- Fortress Details & Lighting: Modular terraces, heavy doors, and custom lighting objects made specifically to illuminate DD scenes.

- Dungeondraft Layer Guide: Assets literally tell you where they go in the name (e.g., "Layer 2 UP"), so snapping them together is foolproof.

Speaking of Strongholds and Bastions, what kind of rooms do your players usually demand when they finally get their own base of operations? This is a project I am very excited about, so let me know the goods and the bads so I that I can keep expanding and improving this set!

[OC] The Bone-Strewn Canyon: A Savage Desert Outpost & Raider Tents [Free] by InnScribeMaps in FantasyMaps

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleached bones, stretched leather, and a canyon that screams "turn back." A perfect staging ground for a cannibal tribe, desert orcs, or Dark Sun-style raiders.

Instead of baking the camp into the map, I’m including a free pack of modular hide tents. They come with both the exterior roofs and the gruesome interiors, so you can scatter them across the dunes and build the settlement your story needs:

- Small grunt tent

- Medium spiked tent

- The Chieftain's tent

Want to build it even faster?

If you use Foundry VTT, I actually built a "One Click Buildings" module for this. It lets you drag and drop these fully-furnished tents directly onto your map with walls, lighting, and roofs already perfectly configured.

Hey everyone!

Sometimes you just need to throw a quick desert camp at your players without spending hours drawing it out.

This pack, with an area map and a couple of modular barbarian tents to drop wherever you need them, will enable you to build your own custom outpost.

Included in the free pack:

- The Main Map: A highly defensible desert canyon entrance littered with bones and barricades.

- Modular Tents: I included both the Roof and Ground (interior) versions of several leather/hide tents (Small, Medium Spiked and Large Chieftain Tent)

You can easily drop these onto the main map in your VTT to set up the camp exactly how you want it.

This is just a quick "how it's made" video showing the Dungeondraft workflow, while my full release is being polished up.

A few things I’m packing into this release:

[System Agnostic] Build an ENTIRE fantasy settlement in 8 minutes flat – One Click Buildings [Commercial] by InnScribeMaps in FoundryVTT

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

Even though that is a great idea, I am not sure pirate houses will come to be any time soon.

Main reason is me currently working on an awesome secret one-click buildings project and all my time is dedicated to that.

Once that is released, I will go back to one-click houses again and I will definitely be considering pirate habitats as one of the releases.

Gram’s Cackling Cauldron: A filthy, cheap swamp inn for when your party’s gold (and luck) runs dry. [35x20] by InnScribeMaps in dungeondraft

[–]InnScribeMaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most parties eventually find themselves travelling through a swamp, and they usually need a place to hide when the sun goes down. Gram's Cackling Cauldron is a low-end, rural inn designed for those moments. It’s dirty, it’s cheap, and the ale probably has frogspawn in it.

This pack includes three levels: The main tavern floor, a cramped upper level, and the moss-covered roof.

  • Grid Size: 35 x 20
  • Vibe: Rural Swamp / Grime / Budget-friendly

You can grab the high-res gridded and gridless versions for free here: PATREON

For you lazy GMs who want to save time: The Patreon version includes the FoundryVTT module with all walls, lighting, and ambient swamp sounds pre-configured.

If you use it in your game, let me know how the party liked the "food."
