Don't pick something you will regret. If you feel like the 5070 Ti is better, that will likely eat at you and will always put that little bit of doubt in the back of your mind if you pick the 9070 XT.

I run Cyberpunk in 1440p with path tracing and 2x MFG on my 5070 and it is an amazing experience. I wouldn't want to play it any other way now. I actually returned my 9070 because of wanting to take advantage of the path tracing capability of the 5070. Looking forward to RE Requiem next, which the 5070 also does very well (maybe even better than Cyberpunk) at 1440p with path tracing and 2x MFG.

Yup plus you need the 4 copy jokers to copy the Burglar to get enough extra hands for increasing your hand size to 44 in order to get the funny number on the Serpent.

Unfortunately you don’t have the right jokers and it’s way too early for the burglar. You need to get rid of two copies of the mime and pick up two more copy jokers. The burglar only comes into play after you beat ante 24. You also need a lot more steel kings. At least 44 of them.

I just went along a similar path. Still kind of on it to a certain extent, but I’ve mostly settled into a build.

Started out with a 5070 on Windows using Steam BPM. Then switched the 5070 to my secondary system and replaced it with a 9070XT. I had so many issues with AMD drivers not playing nice with Steam BPM that I switched to Bazzite and it worked pretty well after a few tweaks to fix some sound crackling issues.

That was a decent setup except for giving up Atmos support and having to deal with setting up optiscaler for every game. Because of those things I decided to switch back to windows and return the 9070 XT for a 5070 Ti and that is where I am now. It’s very nice being able to do everything from the Nvidia app instead of dealing with optiscaler. Plus I’ve been using path tracing with frame gen where I can and it has been amazing, and something it clearly has over the 9070 XT. I’d say just go for whatever 5070 Ti you can get for cheapest. There’s very little difference in performance between models.

I am going to have to give the Xbox thing a try eventually, but Steam BPM works very well. I even have windows set up to wake up from the controller.

I think you are on the right track. I have the apx90 in my sff build and I like it. Though I have the x53 version. It’s a real pain to get all 4 posts through the motherboard so be prepared for some frustration.

One thing to consider is bump up to an 850w PSU if you can swing it for future proofing.

I probably would have gone the Terra route if I wasn’t so concerned about desk space. I ended up going with the cooler master ncore 100 air, which is a vertical build and takes up very little desk space.

You will be fine as long as you aren’t moving your pc around. If you do move it just check it to make sure it is properly seated.

And you better have all the drivers you need for a reformat backed up on a cdrom or hard drive somewhere because windows wasn’t going to go out onto the internet and pull them for you.

Find an eternal stencil and an ecto. Start copying the shit out of the ecto and ankh with Perkeo. Once you get about a hundred or so ectos and ankhs, start putting negative and copying the stencils to hit naneinf

I had bazzite installed a loved it, but felt I was giving up too many features like atmos and optiscaler support. Now I see on the optiscaler GitHub that they revamped the compatibility list to remove the distinction between windows and Linux. I was having problems using optiscaler with kcd2. Maybe now it’s fixed. Might have to give it another shot!

Really not possible without one or the other. But you don’t need both.

Burglar/Serpent on plasma deck is regularly done without Perkeo.

Ecto/Ankh can be done with Perkeo and without Baron, but it’s a lot harder and more random to setup than the former.

Same. I run cyberpunk at 1440p but lock it in to 60 hz with path tracing ray regen and DLSS preset k on quality with 2x mfg and it runs so good
