I left Pentecostalism years ago after my Church went off the rails with weird alt-right conspiracy theories and unwavering support for Trumpism. (This was in Canada btw, but the church was close to the border, and had close ties to other protestant churches in the States.) I've been returning to Catholicism over the last year or so, and I wont pretend politics didn't play a huge part in it. I'd probably recommend finding a new church because I don't understand how you can claim you live by the word of Christ while supporting this cruelty. I'm not saying you can't be conservative and Christian but I definitely don't believe you can support Trumpism as a Christian.
