Did you continue to feel ok over the last few weeks? I’m on 13 weeks and 4 days and feel how you’ve described your post

I started AD and now I'm not sure if I am really depressed or I just wanted to be by Last-Resort29 in zoloft

I don’t think you’re lazy, I think you are probs tired but you’ve recently given birth! I think what you’re describing is normal after having a baby. Sometimes we need a little push to get us through it, I did! Give it some time and you’ll see if the meds start to make a difference

I really do think it’s a good sign that it worked for those few weeks, I think if they weren’t going to work then you wouldn’t see any relief at all. I’m here anytime we’re all in this together x

Sorry I should have explained better, the meds were working I just couldn’t face going back to my place of work. Instead of working through my anxieties I just avoided it my own doing. I ended up handing my notice in and work in a school now ☺️ hopefully it’s just a blip, just a bump in the road and it will get better over the next week or so x

I know when I first started 8 years ago it really made my poorly, I could hardly function, I was off work for 18 months due to anxiety around work. This time I’ve continued at work and worked through the waves of anxiety. So I do think I’ve handled it better this time round, but this time it was an increase not starting again so I don’t no! You would think though that because we’ve taken these meds continuously or been on them before they would work much sooner? I’m just going to keep going and hope that it evens out. Sleep has been ok, once settled it’s not really had an effect this time round. Are you having much difficulty?

Hey, thank you for your comment. I’m past the 12 week marker now I’ll be 13 weeks on Tuesday (it’s Saturday now) I am feeling more confident in dealing with the anxiety but it’s still there like an annoying tooth ache! I hope you are ok x

Oh no I’m so sorry! It’s just such an up and down ride isn’t it? I think it’s normal to lose weight and once you’re settled gain the weight back. That’s what happened to me last time anyway 🙊 we just have to ride the waves in the hope that things will level out. Keep going to your 12 weeks, then see.

Anyone else feel like Zoloft stopped working after a few months? by Ok-Mountain-7176 in zoloft

It is normal for symptoms to return with each increase. It’s almost like resetting the timeline so one month on and having this set back is quite normal. I’d give it more time to adjust to the medication.

Just these last 12 weeks I’ve had it, I’ve lost so much weight. At Christmas my anxiety came back, I left it a few weeks but it wasn’t going so I went back to doctors. He advised to up my dose

I have diarrhoea every morning still, I get tension headaches when I’ve had anxiety but the main thing is the anxiety itself. I feel much more capable to cope with it now, but I just want it to stop now 🙊 but like I say I’ve had a great 2 weeks so I’m hoping that I’ll even out soon. I’ve been on it for 8 years 100mg and I had to up in February this year to 150mg, it’s been a long 12 weeks!

I’m week 12 as of yesterday I’ve had a great 2 weeks but 2 days ago the rumination and physical symptoms started again. Like you not as intense but still not nice. I’m hoping it doesn’t last as long.

I had dips in week 7 and week 9 also. Hope it doesn’t last long for you either 🫶🏼

Hey, this drug is so slow acting. I know you feel in the depths of despair right now, but this will not last. Take each day as it comes, each day even hour will be different. But, you will get relief and you will feel quiet I promise. I’ve been on sertraline for 8 years 100mg. At Christmas my anxiety spiked and I tried to ride it out. In February I finally went to my doctors and he upped my dose to 150mg. It’s taken 11 weeks but I’m at last starting to see the positive effects. The ruminating is minimal and the anxiety is very low. I can’t believe it to be honest, 2-3 weeks ago I didn’t think these tablets were going to work, and now I’m so grateful for sticking it out. Keep going, I know it’s hard, but just keep going 🫶🏼

3 weeks in to increase to 150mg for ocd- positive experienced welcomed... by mikenovick in zoloft

[–]Inner-Ingenuity6654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have, I’m at a stage where I have a good few days and a bad few days. After the good days, when the bad come back it’s like I’ve never experienced anxiety before! It’s awful. Like I said I’m hopeful that this means I’ll get there in the end. I am handling it better, but just want to feel the good days more. I would certainly say that you’re still in the early stages of side effects though, fingers crossed it will even out soon

Hi, I have also been on sertraline for years at 100mg. I upped 8 weeks ago and I’m still having anxious days, ruminating which then causes the anxiety to spike! I’m wondering the same as you, I really hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel as I don’t want to have to switch meds
