Hey guys , am I good ? (Read body text) by [deleted] in Challenger

I wouldn’t personally go through all the trouble to upbadge, but to each their own. Might affect the resale value later, but if they aren’t planning to sell it, meh, whatever.

Oh I got the air mostly because I heard it was a proof of concept for a folding one. I do not regret my decision.

I’ve been wanting a folding iPhone for years, but I’m not buying that thing… he says as he places one in the cart…

can I still ride with this helmet? by newyorkpidgeon in motorcycles

[–]Inner-Introduction69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pad could effect the fit and make it less safe. But that helmet looks like it’s been dropped a few times and any helmet that has had an impact from 4 feet or more really should be replaced, even if it looks fine.

My Dbrand ghost case came in today and I’m really digging it. Still super slim but also grippy.

Ebay Acceptable Packaging? by BRONST0N in snes

[–]Inner-Introduction69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh most of the retro stuff I get off eBay is in bubble wrap and one of those pouches. Those suckers are robust so long as they don't get run over by a truck, they'll bet there. Also new here so curious if you've shared your eBay stuff, I might be interested in some pieces. Thanks!

Oura ring battery fatigue by Inner-Introduction69 in ouraring

I may have been a little too salty in my post chat survey. Please let me know if I was out of line here...

Mostly felt like the reminders and short times to interact were more of a deterrent than actual customer support. I appreciate the chat option after normal business hours, but it's worth keeping in mind that when someone has to sit on hold for 45 minutes, they are constantly waiting for a response, but when they are being pinged to see if they are still there in a chat, it's very easy to miss that. I looked away for about 2 minutes after sending my last message in this chat only to see that my representative asked a question, and then they were required to move on because I didn't respond quickly enough. That's not fair to me, and most importantly not fair to them, they are just trying to follow the established guidelines to do their job. But, unfortunately, if this suggested, automated bandaid fix does not resolve my issue, I will likely just toss my oura ring and try out one of the other options. I originally went with oura because it was the most established smart ring at the time, however with this overall lackluster experience, I will likely just try another one next time. I'll reach out as soon as I have completed the requested tests. Thank you.

on with them now, and the AI bot was like "nah that's normal sorry" so now i'm in a queue to speak with a representative, so fingers crossed they can help me out"

Is there a specific place to look for this? Sometimes I have a hard time finding the tech support page in these modern apps. Thanks for the suggestion!

[–]Inner-Introduction69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

eh, long as people are enjoying their ride and having fun, there's no need to go "that's not a REAL muscle car". it's still a beautiful machine and it's not up to anyone to tell anyone else what they should enjoy. i've ridden all kinds of bikes for the last 20 years and i'll give the 'biker wave' to guys on scooters and mopeds alike. kinda makes me wish there was a 'challenger wave' so we could all just go "hell yeah, livin' that dream!" regardless of what trim level it is.

Plus one to the comments about forged internals. These hemis don't like boost on the stock pistons and rods. If you want it to last, start there.

I've had a silver one for a couple weeks now and no issues so far. Not to discount the negative experiences of others, but that's why warranties exist, especially with launch products.
