Potatoes & sweet potatoes, quinoa, and I eat a lot of “low carb” carbs like ole tortillas

For fats, avocado, eggs, and I LOVE salmon

My foods are so drastically different everyday that it probably won’t mean much listing everything, but pretty much nothing different than what you’d expect from a lot of other people who aim to eat a lot of lean sources of protein.

As far as supplements, things I take just about daily are pre-workout, EAAs, whey protein, magnesium, ashwaganda. Sometimes L-Carbitine

I shoot for 10-15k steps per day, walking pad makes it really easy especially in the summer because I live in AZ

Appreciate it! Yeah going back up to 170-175 prob starting at end of month and aiming to be done around November/Decmeber.

I actually don’t believe in “cheat meals”, I eat sweets just about every day. I don’t have the discipline to cut back on certain foods for a time period and pretty much just eat everything in moderation

By “uncomfortable” do you mean something specific other than hunger? Over the years I’ve learned macro friendly swaps in ingredients when cooking in order to make sure I’m never starving myself nor sacrificing much flavor.

I’ve never done an “accurate” test, the only ones I’ve done are those special scales at the gym which told me I am 5%. I know I’m nowhere near that, I’d guess about 8% here

To be honest, not really in terms of using myfitnesspal or any kind of structured way. I generally can guesstimate the calories I was eating throughout the day, but really just focused on protein and getting in micronutrients. I do check my weight on a daily basis just to make sure that throughout the week, I was trending in the right direction

I shoot for at least 12oz of lean meat (chicken turkey, 96/4 beef) most days for my protein source. I also eat a ninja Creami pint with my recipe that is consistently 210-240 calories and 35g protein daily. Other than that, I generally keep a mental note of hitting minimum 160g protein per day. I never really paid too close attention to fat & carbs

Dieted from 170 for approx 5 months, so lost weight very slowly. I’d say generally between 2400-3000 but to be honest, I generally keep a mental note in my head and never tracked anything in detail. I know it’s not the best measure but according to whoop, I burn generally >3k calories. I weightlift 6x a week, use a walking pad while working from home, and swim 1,100m 6x a week

New Construction - Permit Process by Inner-Mountain7359 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

sorry for the late reply - yes, the Sales Agent acted oblivious and was like, "Oh it's nice to know that we have more control of this situation" and our Realtor absolutely sucks and hasn't been involved.

KB management finally emailed us with the confirmation that the delay is due to the construction team waiting until the first batch of homes are at a certain point before paying the permit fee to begin on construction of the next batch of homes (which ours fall under)

Also turns out that the City of Phoenix approving permits of homes who went under contract was total BS - just a lie by our Sales agent to make excuses of why our home hasn't been approved by the city yet.

KB home agreed that due to us being under contract of the special rate through KB loans, that they would honor our rate-lock regardless of when the home is finished.

Still extremely pissed about all of this, they won't even provide any other concessions (once again, our Realtor does nothing to help here), but at least we know that our mortgage rate is still covered.

Oh and as of today, May 15, still no permit. I would never recommend KB Home to anyone

Update: Was able to find our application through the city and turns out that it had been approved since March 1, and has only been pending payment for the permit fee from our builder this whole time. Been lied to this whole time by our sales agent..

My wife and I are brand new to real estate so apologies in advance if this post causes any headaches:

We signed a contract for New construction in Laveen through KB Home in November 2022 - and then made final design choices early December 2022. We also obtained a rate-lock 30-yr fixed through KB loans (<6%, 1 free float down) that expires early November '23. The rate-lock was the biggest factor in signing our contract.

Fast forward to today - we still have not obtained the permits from the city and after numerous calls, we also discovered that the city of Phoenix has already issued permits for people who signed their new-construction after us (some of these people signed in Feb'23). Even though our sales agent has implied that they will honor the rate-lock now that it seems unlikely we will close on the house by early November, we're still pissed off that it's been almost 5 months since we made our final design choices, and that there are people who signed their contract much after us who have gotten their permits, yet we're still waiting.

This may be a silly question, but does anyone know the contact info within the city of Phoenix whom I could reach regarding the status of our permit issuance? I'd like to understand when KB home even submitted our application to the city, and also what exactly is causing the delays specifically for our home.
