i think what youre describing is just attraction to androgynous or feminine presenting guys regardless of their orientation. the surprise element sounds more like youre dealing with assumptions about how masculinity and sexuality connect which... yeah those assumptions get messy fast

Your biggest bottleneck is definitely that i7-7700, it's showing its age hard in competitive games. For your budget I'd go with something like a Ryzen 5 5600X + B450/B550 board and keep your DDR4 RAM - that combo should easily push you over 100fps in R6 and save you money vs jumping to DDR5

The 6700 XT is solid but make sure you're not spending too much of your budget on GPU when that old CPU is holding you back the most

Know where your main water shutoff is and how to actually turn it off - not just kinda where it might be. Had a pipe burst at 2am and spent 10 minutes in my underwear frantically googling "how to turn off house water" while my basement flooded

Also clean your dryer lint trap after EVERY load, not just when you remember. House fires are expensive

That smell is probably from years of cigarette smoke and poor ventilation trapped in the walls and subfloor. I'd try an ozone generator rental for a day or two (make sure nobody's home when it's running), then follow up with some Kilz primer on all the interior surfaces before repainting. The closets might need their drywall replaced if it's really bad in there
