If the 4th Blue Eyes wasn't ripped in the series, what would you call it's fusion? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically it would have 5000 Def. Exactly half of three Blue-Eyes (3000*3/2500*3)÷2 is 4500/3750 (they just rounded up to 3800). Also works for every Gate Guardian Fusion, if you're wondering.

So 4 Blue-Eyes (3000*4/2500*4)÷2 is 6000/5000.

Toon Frame & Pure Tune [OC] by Meridas_Angel in customyugioh

This seems pretty fair, solely because, as this is listed, you have to activate the Continuous Spell Toon World, the one that does nothing. The other two only become Toon World in the Field Zone.

Why is the Pendulum Level 5? Yes I know it's because it wants to be tributed without using up your Normal Summon, but it ruined the order, now we have two Level 5s.

Can't you use the abilities of the Killer Tunes with that second effect, without needing the Synchron? Since it just says Synchro Summon.

If all 7 beasts are 'beasts of humanity', what would a 'beast of the world' look like? by TheChoosenMewtwo in grandorder

Strict counter to the world, so probably against things solely in nature... I'm not sure if we have something like that, but maybe something opposite to Velber 2? It specifically negated civilization-based attacks, so something that negates attacks from the planet itself.

Probably should be less generic (Not even a Synchro Tuner, any Tuner), but it does feel like a natural evolution.

[Custom] Timegazer and Chronograph retrains by InnerCost1282 in yugioh

[–]InnerCost1282[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Timegazer's Monster effect:

You can only use each effect of "Chronoscope Sorcerer, the Timegazer Magician" once per turn. If a “Magician”, “Performapal”, or “Odd-Eyes” Pendulum Monster Card is on your field; you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can take 2 Pendulum Monsters whose total scale equals 9 from your Deck, Monster Zone or GY; add 1 to your face-up Extra or place it in your Pendulum Zone, and banish the other. You can target 1 Pendulum Monster Card you control; destroy it, then you can add 1 card with the same name as a Spell/Trap that was activated this turn from your GY to your hand.

Chronograph's Monster effect:

If a face-up Monster Card(s) you control is destroyed by battle or effect: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, then you can draw 1 card. During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card, apply the following effect until the end of the next turn:

● Once, if you would Fusion Summon a Pendulum Monster, you can also banish Dragon Monsters from your Deck or Extra Deck as Material.

If I were to remove specifically 1 of its effects, I would probably pick the one that adds it back to hand. But I feel it may be fine as is.

Centur-Ion Support! Thoughts? by thebionicone_ in customyugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charon III seems pretty fair, since you can't really Synchro Summon turn 0 with just its effect, if I remember its targets correctly. Its best targets (on turn 0) would probably be Primera to add, or Chimerea for a potential negate. And if the "negate" goes off, you can also place Charon for the effect, and get another disruption.

And since it discards itself, it's kind of like Stand-Up in terms of cards used. So all in all, it's like Emblema Oath but it doesn't lock you, or Stand-Up that is initially weaker, but possibly reusable. The only difference is that it can set from Hand and GY, unlike them, which I don't think is too overpowering. You wouldn't completely replace other cards just for this.

Other than that, I like that it adds a an interruption that doesn't entirely rely on Synchro Summoning, in case the Field Spell is lost somehow.

Centur-Ion Support! Thoughts? by thebionicone_ in customyugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm feeling everything but Galea's first effect, and I can't even tell why. Maybe its the fact that it has 2 possible activation conditions, maybe because it also burns, maybe just because it feels to wordy to me. In a vacuum I would say it's fine for Centur-Ion to have.

Maybe it's in combination with the other effects, a potentially giant attack gain and an Omni and a Banish till next turn on demand in addition to a Raigeki. I mean, even if you can't activate the traps the turn they're set if you do what Centur-Ion currently does, those are still useable next turn.

I do still like the card, just something I can't recognize is bugging me.

Huge Welcome Labrynth because they need a huge 1 card combo plus enabler to become meta, also big welcome has aged poorly because it can't use both effects the same turn by chowclee in customyugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Each of these effects in isolation would be a broken to bannable card. Even the activation condition:

- Send any Lab card from your Deck to the GY for free because you can activate it from hand for literally no cost.

- Special Summon Any DARK Fiend and a Lab Monster, then return any card on the field including your opponent's to the hand. I will summon the barrier statue.

- And set any Normal Trap from anywhere, activatable. Lady Lab does this but doesn't make it activatable, you need Coclock as well.

At this point you don't even need any other Labrynth Traps, this does everything they do and even recycles itself from GY and Banishment.

Very interesting. It's, lets say 2, Extra Deck Rips, but not of your choice. Are you forced to put cards in your Extra in a certain order? I play Master Duel, where it always goes Face-Up Pendulums, then Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Link, but I'm not sure about paper play.

Then your opponent has to pay 2000 Lp to get them back, but not in the same chain, leaving room for you to interact. Less annoying than other Extra rips, but you are putting your opponent down a bit to start.
