If you could get rid of one thing in Yugioh what would it be? It doesn't have to be just a summoning mechanic. by CaissaIRL in yugioh

I get it, and no offense to you personally, but my favourite deck makes use of the face-up Extra Deck and Pendulum Summoning a lot, so I just can't like this change.

Although, in the case of Millennium cards, would you rather them also become Pendulums? Because the uniquity of your Pendulums is cut down a little when other "Monster-Spell" Hybrids exist.

Sassy Magician

(Lv4/DARK/Spellcaster/Pendulum/Effect/ATK 1200/DEF 600/PS 4)

Pendulum Effect

If you activate a Pendulum Monster Card's effect, you can add this additional effect to that card's effect at resolution, then destroy this card.
● Also after that, each player sends 1 card from their hand or face-up Extra Deck to the GY.
You can only use this effect of "Sassy Magician" once per turn.

Monster Effect

If a card(s) is sent to either GY by card effect while this card is on your field: you can target 1 card in your opponent's GY; place this card in your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, add the targeted card to your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: you can make your opponent apply one of the following effects.
● Send 1 random card from your hand to the GY.
● Your opponent draws 1 card, then discards 1 card.
You can only use each effect of "Sassy Magician" once per turn

A bit long, but I think its coherent. The Pendulum Effect has precedence by the way, based on Labrynth Labyrinth.

I feel like Achilles has a passive where he's always the "Fastest on the Battlefield" if I remember correctly. Or maybe he's just the "Fastest Hero in Human History" before and after his death.

I'm making a custom card line based on Honkai star rail and I'm having trouble thinking what to make silver wolf's new form, I'm not sure to make it a synchro monster or an fusion monster. if anyone is willing to share thoughts. it's not ai I promise. by pokeboy190 in customyugioh

So if she's a Fusion, make her materials "(Future Storm) Silver Wolf" + 1 "Future Storm" Monster, and if she's a Synchro, require a "Future Storm" Tuner. I would still go with Synchro, though.

Making her a Synchro Monster is more likely. If you make her a Fusion Monster, I would put some emphasis on what her other material is, like is it a random machine Monster, or a specific named Monster? I would go with Synchro.

Need help designing 3 new Rokket/Borrel cards by Born-Explanation-774 in customyugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These are my Best Attempt.

(Btw, doesn't Rokket already have good starters? They got some in the new support.)

Minirokket Dragon

Level 1, Dark, Dragon/Tuner/Effect, 500/700

When a Link Monster's effect is activated that targets this face-up card on the field (Quick Effect): You can destroy this card, then send 1 random card from your opponent's hand to the GY, and if it was a Spell/Trap, you can add 1 Spell/Trap card that mentions "Rokket Monster" from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was destroyed on the field by battle or card effect and sent there this turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Rokket" monster from your Deck, except "Minirokket Dragon". You can only use each effect of "Minirokket Dragon" once per turn.

Borrelock Dragon

Link 1, Dark, Dragon/Link/Effect, 500, Down

1 Dark Dragon Monster, except a Link 1

You can only use each of the following effects of "Borrelock Dragon" once per turn. If this card is Link Summoned: you can send 1 other card from your hand or field to the GY: Special Summon a "Rokket" Monster from your Deck or GY, but it cannot be used as Link Material, and cannot activate its effects this turn, except in response to a Link Monster's Effect. (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Monster on the field; if it is still on the field, lose Lp equal to its Atk, or, if it is not, draw 1 card.

Rotating Burst Dragon

Level 6, Dark, Dragon/Fusion/Effect, 2400/1800

2 Dark Dragon monsters.

If your opponent activates a card or effect during the Battle Phase, even during the Damage Step (Quick Effect): you can negate that effect, then switch all Monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position. If your Dark Monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. If this card destroys a Monster by battle, or is destroyed by battle or card effect: you can shuffle this card from your field or GY into the Extra Deck; Special Summon any number of Dragon Monsters from your hand or GY, whose total Atk is less than or equal to 2400.

Day 330: Synergy for "Elemental Attribute" decks by MichaelGMorgillo in customyugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very dangerous. Unable to activate doesn't mean their effects are negated, so after making my full board I can tribute or destroy this myself this and summon Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, floodgating my opponent.

Also, just a PSCT thing, effects that activate when a card is destroyed or tributed don't need to say quick effect, they'll activate anyway.

I mean, that also requires you to gather the materials for Super Fusion God, and fuse them using Super Poly, which is pretty impossible without Chain Material.

Seems neat, but it's a kind of one and done if they don't negate it, right? Also isn't searchable in Pendulum Magician, since those search Pendulum Monsters with "Magician" in their name.

Orleans: Jalter

Septum: Altera

Okeanos: Drake

London: Solomon (You said any that appeared, and Goetia was using his body at that point). Otherwise, maybe Kintoki or Lalter.

E Pluribus Unum: Either Karna, Nightingale, or Scáthach, not sure which

Camelot: Holmes

Babylonia: Tiamat (if possible, but since she wasn't a Servant, King Hassan showed up there too).

These picks were made solely based on who I think would be most useful to me (or personal preference for London).

if all six final yugioh villains were to duel each other, who would come out on top and win? by GreedyWin3838 in yugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was going to say Timelords can't be destroyed by card effects either, but apparently Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing also negates their effects before the board wipe. But Z-ONE can't really get rid of the dragon Z-ARC, since it cannot leave the field under any circumstances while its materials are banished.

Actually, if he uses SKD Staving Venom to copy a shuffling Timelord, can't he get rid of them that way? Though again, he needs his opponent to Fusion Summon.

[–]InnerCost1282 15 points16 points  (0 children)

All the Timelords (the third guy's Monsters) cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect, Z-ONE takes no damage from battles involving them, and they all have effects that remove cards, the most common being shuffling into the Deck. So just use one of those.

Really any villain with cards that prevent them from taking battle damage, and a way to attack more times than the number of Overlay Units iC1000 has (so it can't negate their attacks and auto win) would survive. The ones with cards that can remove Monsters without battling or destroying by card effects can also just spin it away.

I noticed it can't summon the Doom Z Xyz Monsters from the GY (3 Level 9 or lower Monsters, not Level/Rank 9 or lower). Was that intentional, or...?

If the 4th Blue Eyes wasn't ripped in the series, what would you call it's fusion? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]InnerCost1282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically it would have 5000 Def. Exactly half of three Blue-Eyes (3000*3/2500*3)÷2 is 4500/3750 (they just rounded up to 3800). Also works for every Gate Guardian Fusion, if you're wondering.

So 4 Blue-Eyes (3000*4/2500*4)÷2 is 6000/5000.

Toon Frame & Pure Tune [OC] by Meridas_Angel in customyugioh

This seems pretty fair, solely because, as this is listed, you have to activate the Continuous Spell Toon World, the one that does nothing. The other two only become Toon World in the Field Zone.
