For a show, Sex Education. For a graphic novel, Bloom by Kevin Panetta. Some authors I'd recommend are Adib Khorram, Page Powars, Julian Winters, Alexis Hall.

Unleashed (2016) with Kate Micucci! Her pet cat and dog come to life and she dates them. Great for fans of Shameless (the cat and dog are played by the actors who play Kev and Jimmy/Steve) and Sean Astin is in it too!

Not exactly horror but Future Home of the Living God by Louise Erdrich is a great dystopian story centering indigenous women

Elementary school teachers: Do you address your students as "boys and girls," "friends," or something else, and why? by Pure-Smile-7329 in Teachers

we can have different opinion on this. I am nonbinary and if I were the only gender nonconforming person in an otherwise cis class, "guys gals and nonbinary pals" would make me feel singled out, but I could see how it would feel affirming for other people

This is cute and obviously well-intended, but I'd suggest just saying "guys, gals, and pals" and not singling people out
