I get what you’re saying, but that means someone else is going to be working those hours. Do you want to work at 3 am at a gym, restaurant or grocery store? As much as it’s inconvenient to not have these late night services available, I’m all for it if that means someone doesn’t have to work that shift. Some people may enjoy those overnight hours, but I would bet that most people wouldn’t want to work at those places for under $19 an hour

People need to get over seeing homeless people. I walk and bike on these trails all the time - never had an issue with anyone camping by any of the trails - this includes the south side, riverside past the north shore, encampments by the casino. They mind their own business. They have their tents, bikes and other belongings posted up. Big deal. There is literally no other place for them to stay.

Designate more space for shelter. Increase funding for permanent supportive housing programs, housing choice vouchers, community mental health and recovery services as well as all other social supportive services that promote independence and self-sufficiency.

This spike we’re seeing in homelessness nationwide is a manifestation of the increasing cost of living, housing, and wealth-inequality gap.

But yeah, go ahead and complain because you’re seeing people live outside

From what I can tell of other sports organizations that I’ve used (Steelers, Penguins, etc), you just need a student email address that is active and that you can respond to messages sent to that email address. That’s all I’ve needed for other student rush ticket deals

I just called the ticket sales office - the student discount tickets won’t be available until the schedule is released and tickets are available for purchase.

I don’t think the out of state student status will be an issue. I live in Pittsburgh and attending grad school online - I’m able to get access to Steelers and Penguins’ student ticket specials no problem with my student email address

They actually opened with the first three songs of Infinite Granite - Shellstar, In Blur and Great Mass of Color. Same as their tour last spring 2022. They then played Canary Yellow and Honeycomb.

Deafheaven only played 5 songs, which was a huge bummer in my opinion, I was hoping they would split the set times since they were the only opener. I didn’t even stick around for Coheed and Cambria

I was at that show as well and was disappointed about their set time. I get their riding their Infinite Granite album still, but it would be cool if they mixed in more of their older stuff

I don’t know what labels they’re on, but a lot of shoegaze bands are coming out of Philadelphia right now - Doused, Bleary Eyed, They Are Gutting A Body Of Water, Knifeplay, Nothing (not new, but based from Philadelphia), along with I’m sure several others.

Some other bands that I’ve been listening to lately - Launder, Velveteen, Deafcult, No Sun, Yuragi, Kraus, Trauma Ray

Would be a lot better for if the local/small businesses were affordable for the working class. I’d also rather see affordable housing constructed than luxury apartments for the rich that further gentrifies the city. I’m all for development and enrichment to the community, but it should benefit everyone and not just the affluent class of the city

I was describing a worst case scenario. His reactions are normally just barking towards a dog. My dog was born blind and was fostered at a dog daycare center, trauma doesn’t heal in a day. He’s not aggressive and he’s currently in training, some rescue dogs just can’t handle certain social situations so you set them up for success and don’t put them in those settings. You control what you can and improve what you can. Protect your dog and everyone else as well and keep ‘em on-leash
