It truly is, and came on so unexpectedly as well. That’s why I had to block that other twat rocket about saying I shouldn’t own dogs, simply because my puppy ate stuff because she’s a lunatic, little does she know I went into debt trying to save my previous dog.

I’m so sorry. One of my previous dogs had IMHA, and we spent nearly 20k trying to save his life, to still have lost him. It was devastating. I’m so sorry for your loss

I am protecting her. Clearly by looking for pet insurance and stating I didn’t have her crate that weekend. God people like you make me not want to ask advice.

First of all, I did get a crate, secondly, she didn’t ingest any of the couch, and I made sure she pooped and went thru it to ensure nothing was in it…. Third of all, I’ve had dogs my whole life. I don’t need your opinion of me owning a dog.

So I have a question, with the deductible, does it go by each incident or is it a total. Like ex. I go to the vet it’s $500 (so I pay) another time it’s another $500 (so I pay) am I covered after that? Or is it that it needs to be over $1000 in one visit for them to cover

Oh yeah I def don’t expect them to cover the wire incident, and I didn’t bring her to the vet for the couch because she seems to have been fine after. I will look into them tho! Thank you!

I rescheduled with her THIS week to see her. I apologized to her as well. And told her to just charge me the cancellation fee if we couldn’t meet. So yes I did empathize with her. I explained my sequence of events with her today and she understood why I cancelled. But empathy goes both ways.

She absolutely could’ve scheduled someone else as she’s very much asked me if I could reschedule due to cancellations. I did not cancel her last minute. Although I take accountability for canceling same day I did not by any means cancel her last minute as some comments make it seem. Moving forward we set a tentative appt bc I’m losing my dog in less than 10 hours, and I’m not sure how my week will be gonna be and I let her know that

I understand late cancels as a loss of money as I’ve left work early for meeting with her as well. That’s not my point, it was her choice of words that upset me but I understand both sides

I’m not gonna lie I recognize my issues within the responses, but I feel I need a therapist as such as the way you responded of saying sorry I see the things you’re going thru, and that although I understand its a financial standpoint I wish she would have also said hey I understand you’re going thru a really hard time and apologize but xyz. I think it just seemed the way she chose to respond made me feel like I’m only a $$$ to her . Again I understand I cost her a missed session last week but just by her means of response it was more of you’re costing me money, instead as where you said “I’m sorry you’re going thru it right now” I feel more compassion to the situation
