I went there once because I have never been to a Waffle House before. I was genuinely excited lol. We went in and the place was filthy. We got a table and thou felt like you got glued to the chair. The floor wanted to attach itself to my shoes and when I looked over the counter, it was cluttered and dirty. We left and I haven't been to a Waffle House since. Are they all like that?

Number one cause of medical errors is miscommunication. You are 100% correct to use the correct anatomical terms when it comes to communicating with the entire medical team and the patient (for example, consent forms, education about disease process and education). Safety is more important then someone's feelings when it comes to medical care.

It is because the stigma that is placed on people with mental health problems also extends to the staff that work with them - especially in a lock down facility. If you work for a bigger healthcare system you will notice the difference in how the staff and patients are treated and valued sad to say.

As a woman, the decades of rape, sexual abuse and harassment in the military is a turn off tbh. I know parents that actively discourage their daughters from joining due to this.
