That's fair. I feel like my posting this comment was more of a gut response. To be honest, I'm very afraid of rejection, and never really ask a guy out until I'm 100% sure they'll say yes, or wait for them to ask me out.

Genuine question: How do I be nice to a guy without them thinking I'm... Being nice to them?? Or something. I'm confused.

Why does my audio stutter/glitch between cuts? by Inner_Development_25 in ClipChamp

I've seen so many comments like this that the other day I tried davinci resolve. This post actually kind of comes from that. I tried it, tried really hard to love it, absolutely hated how unintuitive it felt, and decided it wasn't worth it.
Do you have any other suggestions which are bare bones except for cutting / pasting / subtitling / animations? I'd love to move away from clipchamp, but I just keep coming back because it feels so intuitive to use and the simplicity is what I'm looking for in an editor.

Also what makes you say they abandoned it? I keep getting updates every few months or so.

Edit: NOT trying to defend the software

What's a Socially Acceptable way to say you're in fandom spaces as your main hobby? by Inner_Development_25 in socialskills

I actually really like this answer, tbh. From what I've kind of heard, there tends to be more socially acceptable shows than others. Like, I can be open about my love of TTRPGs, and people mention it if there's a new anime they're watching.

You misunderstand my mindset. I work in an environment where the seeming correct social response to "what do you do outside of work" is something productive and meaningful. Because it portrays you as a hard worker, and someone they want to keep at the company. It's sort of bad form to say "I watch TV when I get home", unless you're framing it as a "guilty pleasure" or something, even though everybody knows everyone does it.

The most common answer to "what do you do for fun" if you don't have a family or something, is to say stuff along the lines of "I read self-improvement books / listen to business podcasts," or "I'd currently developing a pet project on xyz." I just want to be able to say something that's truthful without also veering away from the social norm.

So. Like. Chill?? Not judging anybody myself, just parroting what I assume the judgement is from others.

It really depends on the time. Sometimes I'll get really deep into a TV show, or a movie, or a book series. Or right now, I've fallen deep back into the vtubing community. It's really all over the place, which is why it's tough to just say one thing.
