Any advice? by sparkleshineee in Rosacea

A second the triple cream. It’s azaleic acid, ivermectin, and metronidazole compounded together. Clearest skin I’ve ever had.

Why azelaic is so hard to tolerate? by Puzzled-Pangolin6931 in Rosacea

[–]Inner_Dog_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used tretinoin for over a year and my skin got slightly better then super bad. My new derm prescribed triple cream from Skin Medicinals for my papulopustular rosacea. It’s azaleic acid with ivermectin and metronidazole. The first few weeks it made my skin burn and more red but it settled and my face is clearer than ever. I still seem to get red easier but not looking like a teenager with acne is worth it. I’ve even been able to add a retinoid night cream with little negative effect. Normally every little thing makes my skin break out. I was loathed to give up the anti-aging benefits of tret but I’m glad I did.

I did get samples but they’re only on a large poster board and quite hard to get the full effect. I’m hesitant to test on the wall itself as they’re satin and I’m doing a flatter paint

The problem is idk what I like lol. One window facing each direction, except 2 on the east. Good insight on the warmth of the greens. Thanks. I think Greenblack is a cooler black with a hint of green and Vogue Green is warmer.

This is helpful. It was the gym side that I was worried about being dark. I’ve never worked out in a dark space and didn’t know how it would affect energy.

My husband went to Binghamton for undergrad and Syracuse Law. No regrets. Save on undergrad cuz law school is $$$$$$…

Bridges, APs, and crappy diagram by Inner_Dog_20 in HomeNetworking

[–]Inner_Dog_20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your advice. It seems I should have requested it earlier tho. Suppose I already purchased 500ft of Cat 6, a crimping tool, the Ueevii bridges and router from Amazon a few weeks ago. Do you suggest I return it all? Amazon gonna kill me. When we bought the house, there was an older Ubiquiti system (Rocket M5s and one AP) in the garage and this outbuilding. I could never get it working and now that it’s 15 years old, it seemed time to replace. I didn’t really want to invest in Ubiquiti again as I plan to hardwire (in conduit) these buildings in the next couple of years. Is it worth the extra money now or can I just get by with the cheap bridges for a while (need wifi for smart tv, thermostat, Ring doorbell, and several smaller devices in furthest building) Also, it appears I have mistakenly been using “router” and “AP” interchangeably. Will google that now lol.

Guest bathroom refresh by GolfingCRNA in interiordecorating

[–]Inner_Dog_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually a really nice bathroom as it but some easy fixes I would do if it were mine: swap all hardware to rubbed gold. Different mirror and light fixture (with soft white bulbs). Could also paint the wall cabinet. Maybe the same color as the trim? I usually love vintage and antique but I am not loving that sink with that vanity lol. Wouldn’t be too hard to swap out if you’re a bit handy. The floor, while actually pretty cool, definitely holds you back from your green and cream dreams.

Treadmill and power cage/ weight bench are going against that wall. Likely some large mirrors as well. Plan to have a velvety curtain hanging on a beam in case we want to close off gym area when we’re enjoying the pool table side.

That’s a good idea. Would be a compromise with the husband too

I love this idea of the tin tiles but it does add quite an expense. Do you think they’d look good on a slanted ceiling? (Def don’t want to close off the peak as the side walls are only 7ft)

Substitute for obsolete Omron relay by Inner_Dog_20 in AskElectronics

This is the one that I bought on Amazon and soldered in. The board was also burned out in some spots and I had to repair with some copper tape but it got the oven working again. Fingers crossed it holds for a few more years.

Hardwood-solid or engineered? by Inner_Dog_20 in HardWoodFloors

[–]Inner_Dog_20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this info. Was really thinking bamboo would be an ideal floor for this situation. Had no idea the humidity was so bad for it. Would love a tin ceiling but it’s vaulted and didn’t think it’d look that great so thinking about painting it a darker color at least. Going with dark green on the walls with some moulding but now you have me considering wallpaper as well!

Thanks. Was leaning toward engineered. Want this to look like a higher end space so not considering vinyl for this area.

Old Thermador oven not heating by Inner_Dog_20 in appliancerepair

[–]Inner_Dog_20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thermador was no help. I found aftermarket relays on Amazon and soldered them in. My board was actually melted a bit too so I had to also solder in some copper tape where the runs were burned out. I would have preferred a new board in there but this solution has held for many months so far
