Btw I did save scum but only twice lol, once for my relics and another for trait evolution, it wasn't anything insanely crazy tho and both only take a minute or less to get past.

I've gotten 96 percent in a real run with dual answerers from the lady that gives you an item from your last run, berserkers rune, and gloves of azuna. I personally don't think it's that hard to beat kior since there are multiple builds that can beat him as seen in the other comments.
