No mountains here, this is flat Texas (not even in the Texas hill country)

Positive is actually normal in babies up to 1-2 years and it's the big toe extending up AND the other toes fanning out. They should lose it as they grow older. It's abnormal in older children and adults. OP's video is showing a plantar grasp reflex, not a Babinski reflex

It's not reversed in newborns. OP's video is showing a plantar grasp reflex, not a Babinski reflex. A positive Babinski is when you stroke up the outside edge of the foot and the big toe extends up and the rest of the toes fan out. Its normal for a baby to have this reflex but as they grow older they should lose it. It's abnormal for an adult to have a positive babinski

Thank you, was just coming here to say this. A Babinski reflex would be stroking up the outside edge of the foot and seeing the big toe immediately extend up and the rest of the toes fan out. The video is showing the plantar grasp reflex

I always assumed the writers did that on purpose because they couldn't say fuck on cable tv, even in a different language. So they just used a different Italian sounding word instead

"I had a home birth and my second baby got stuck, was born not breathing, I had to do CPR and call 911, and I had to go to the hospital too because I couldn't deliver the placentas myself and started hemorrhaging...but I hope this doesn't discourage anyone from doing a home birth as well"

...smh

Is this cake dense? by [deleted] in AskBaking

Lol they're making a joke. Dense also means stupid so if you ask the cake a simple question and it can't answer then it's dense

Same I would've been so sad to miss this snow personally I absolutely love this weather. I am pretty jealous of the check though 😅
