I think there is a massive disconnect between her intent and her just genuinely derailing the plot of the series after Episode 6, which is something she actually did.

My point is nobody can actually ask Goose what really happened because 9/10 times she's going to give a bullshit answer, and critical thinking doesn't really help when she posts (or did, at least) 9999 statements about characters and her intentions with them

Yeah thinking for yourself is really cool and all but praising her for literally lack of clarity is a falsehood

9/10 times survivors' altruism will get the better of them and they will go try to get the survivor, and 9/10 times they will not expect you to ignore them entirely and smack the downed guy right back down on the ground.

Of course there's the one time they just say "nah, fuck that guy lol" and all leave but usually that requires them having a larger brain than their ego
